Girl game is definitely a thing, it's just more "natural" for them since they talk and read constantly about it. Think about it: when you were a teen, you were playing soccer while she was already talking again and again with her friends about guys, sex, analyzing the weird bahaviour of this other girls, etc. Then open cosmo or similar girl shit: "Is he cheating on you?" "how to lose weight fast" "become the best sex he had". All the PUA stuff we had is a way to reverse (and surpass) all that.
IMO it's just a matter of level : the tighter your game is, the higher your SMV is and the better game she will need to lock you up. So for true alphas, it will require her insane femme fatale game. In a realistic world, she will not succeed 99% and he will choose the younger pussy not so into her career...

BTW, rich successful guy =/= alpha. I know several good looking guys, high end job but manipulated so easily by the fair sex. The last one told me "I decide everything at work, I'm tired when I get home. I want then the girl to take all the decisions". Beta unmasculine man alert!
