I was just watching an interview with the daughter of the great actress Lana Turner. Turner was a dream, even into her 60's and 70's. In spite of her good looks, she found herself in many abusive relationships. She had only one daughter, Cheryl Crane.

At the age of 14, Cheryl stabbed Johnny Stampanato, one of her mother's lovers. The killing was ruled justifiable homicide. Cheryl later admitted to the killing and that she had done so only because she feared for her mother's life. The trial was apparently a media circus at the time, a la OJ Simpson.

Cheryl grew up and became a very vocal lesbian.

So, do girls become lesbians because their fuck violent men? Do girls reject heterosexual relationships because they have never have a model of a healthy heterosexual relationship? Can we really blame for Cheryl for wanting to be with females?

As an aside, Stampanato had a run-in on the set with a young Scotsman named Sean Connery. He showed up with a gun, and Connery bent his hand back forcing him to drop the gun. He was later escorted off the set.

That whole killing served as the basis of a Harold Robbins novel. I think the title is "Where Love Has Gone". Hard to believe it, but that man was a printing money with his typewriter back in the 60's. Suburban housewives ate his crap up.

That's probably one reason girls become lesbians; Yes girls who do not have stable father figures will reject healthy relationships with men; There's no blame to be laid, it's her preference.
