Am I the only one that just takes a sleeping pill and wakes up when the plane is landing? As long as the airport I am landing at has decent coffee, I'm set.

The food on the majority of Chinese airlines I've flown with has been utter shit.

No surprise there, I guess.

I've almost flown with all the airlines in Europe and United States for past 10 years. Without a doubt, Turkish Airlines is the best that there is.

When you order special food, you can even order duck or salmon with no additional cost and unlimited wine on the side.

For my best foodie experience, I would plump with KLM, Lufthansa with an honourable mention going to Aeroflot for breaking out the vodka after a long wait in Sheremyetevo 1 for a connecting flight to Ekaterinburg. JAT (Yugoslavia) and Malev (Hungary) when they were around served up a good fare. I also flew with BA, Balkan (Bulgaria) Egyptair, Czech Airlines and Austrian, although not stellar, they did the job.

Belavia the national carrier of Belarus is a bit of a let down given the price of flights from Minsk to London. However if you book Business, the service and food is a lot better.
