Wow, I've never really paid much attention to Kaine speaking. He comes off like a complete beta goof closet-case. I find it hard to believe that normal people wouldn't pick up on this and be repulsed on some visceral level.

Pence is a strong contrast. Definite "adult in the room" gravitas. Better control of his voice, facial expressions, diction, etc.
