RE: 2016 Vice Presidential Debate Thread - 10/04/2016
Watching the approval lines for the debate - It's interesting... The independent approval lines seem to synch up with the republicans rather than the Democrats. This was also the case in the Trump debate. What this means is that the independents are with Trump, and either they aren't telling the pollsters so, or the pollsters are flat out lying.
The other interesting talking point coming out of the focus groups, is that Pence seems to have won more people over to Trump... While VP debates rarely if ever move the needle, this election is different. People are looking for any excuse to vote Trump and Pence just gave them one.

This is a key takeaway that I am seeing reflected on facebook/morning conversations. I know many close Trump supporters. They would have voted Trump without question but they still talk about how horrible of a candidate he is. Now they are openly admitting to Trump/Pence, and using Pence as the key to social approval.
I think independents will jump over because of last night, and I think it gives the closet supporters the ammunition they needed to openly admit to Trump/Pence.
It won't be Yuge!, but it is a positive net outcome for Trump/Pence. If Trump can pull off a well mannered and alpha appearance like Pence did, it's game over.

Nice analysis. Yes. Bottom line: Pence makes Trump look better; Kaine does the opposite for Hitlery.
The squishy "moderates" can now vote for The Donald without guilt.
Like I've posted on RVF a few times: Election Night's going to be over early. The Trump-Pence landslide is going to be epic.

CNN this morning:
"Sources inside the Trump campaign are stating that Donald Trump is upset with Mike Pence.. for doing too well last night."
Jesus, the media is really grasping at straws now.

Lol @ "ticket flip". As funny as that is... it is just one more YUGE indicator (among many) that Pence > Christie (except in real poundage). Pence is giving all these sluts, including last night's moderator, YUGE tingles. This is out-fucking-standing. If anything was going to bring around Samseau's "skittish women", it's a good old-fashioned case of the vaginal tingles. Trump still has massive sugar-daddy game but Pence has that cowboy charm. Krispy... would NOT have delivered in this area.
Let Pence play the long-legged mack-daddy pimp just like Obola did in 2008.
Let's win this fucking thing.

RE: 2016 Vice Presidential Debate Thread - 10/04/2016
My favorite Pence quote from last night, especially the bold:
"To be honest, if Donald Trump said all those things you said he said, in the way you said he said those things, he wouldn't have a fraction of the insults that Hillary Clinton leveled when she said half of our supporters were a basket of deplorables."
The way the bolded repetition of tongue twisting words came out of his mouth was fantastic, he didn't stumble when he said it, and he didn't need to clarify it because the message came out so clearly. It was so incredibly coherent that I haven't seen any of the MSM try to get "clarity" on that statement, and that "we have no idea what he meant with that".
When I watched Pence say that live last night:

I didn't like that shit either. All that stuff he was spewing could of been in Time Magazine or The Economist. Sick of the all that spin still being tossed around. Russia has been a stabilizing force in Syria, and Assad, say what you will as a leader, is a better alternative then having a bunch of random bearded goons running the show there.
The Syrian issue is IMO, proof of the disconnect between the Washington and media elites, and the rest of the country.
Your average voter gives zero fucks about what's happening in Syria. The only aspect of Syria they do care about, is making sure Syrian problems don't wind up as US problems.
You'd think at least one politician would conduct a focus group of some sort to see just how little the average voter cares about Syria. I guarantee if Trump said "I give zero fucks about the Syrian situation" he'd surge ahead in every swing state.
As for the Russian issue, I think the attitudes are coming from aging baby boomers who grew up practicing air raid drills during the cold war. Those attitudes won't change until we put the boomers in the nursing home.

Men like Pence have the opposite effect. He's successful, and confident in his presentation, but picks a homely woman and starts a family. Nothing about this is psychologically threatening to them: on the contrary, this is core female fantasy material for post-wall women. After his performance last night, there's going to be a lot of wet sofas in the 'burbs around America.
Don't be surprised if you start hearing older women on the fence using this as a plausible-deniability excuse for voting Trump.

I got some pictures of young Karen Pence:
She was quite looking when young, above average by today standard considering the obesity epidemic among young women. This is how a marriage should work, a man should enjoy the best years of a woman youth and beauty while rising his kids.
I like this one with one of his daughter, looking at the sunset like a better future is ahead, like he knew one day he will destroy a creepy looking guy at a debate on national TV and Make America Great Again.
