"How to Make Friends and Influence People" is a pretty good book from what I've read so far

You learn by doing. Your inner game will develop automatically with experience. I don't recommend reading about it however if you really need to read something then this is what I would recommend you..

Agree with XXL. Experience moves you forward. Writing down or taping your sessions and analysing them later should help too. You will realize how much you have improved mentally.

RE: Need Recommendations on Books on Inner Game
In my experience self-help is good when you have momentum. Learning by doing, such as excelling at a physical activity like a 'professional' sport(baseball, hockey, basketball, golf) then supplement that with gym training. I find meatheads who strictly goto the gym and have no athletic background fit the stereotype of insecure loser. Excelling at poker is a major confidence boost.

PS: Most people don't do it or quit, because learning new things is hard. The path to inner game is hard and I would say very few actually get there for real, let alone stick out the bumps in the road. Don't give up.

Doing a job that you love. ie) Earning your own money your own way, making good commission, designing a useful product/service. Creating in general...

Business books always worked for me. Laws of Success, Buffettology and Think and Grow Rich with a Peace of Mind are good starters during nailing a sport.

This kind of stuff makes the chicks come to you == Attraction

Inner Game == Financial, Sexual, Lifestyle and Entrepreneurial Freedom

Talk with people.

The cashier in your local grocery, baker in your local bakery...that will learn how to socialize, and help your "inner game".

Also, read all the books the other posters have mentioned, they are quite helpful. Especially Gorilla Mindset. Here is a video of one of the seminars from the author of Gorilla Mindset.

Lift, you haven't already! That will help you more than a thousand books!

Remember...it will take time. As an old saying goes, Rome was not built in a day.

Good luck (and happy huntingBig Grin)!

RE: Need Recommendations on Books on Inner Game
Another thing, I think I recognize you from the guy who lashed out at the Hot girl? Correct?

Anyways, if not, whatever.

The point of Game is Perception is Reality.

Women can smell the stench of death. To get laid you gotta look like you're getting laid by premium chicks.

Swagger. My friend.

If you want good looking girls to fuck you, you have to appear more in demand then you actually are. This is inner game.

One huge part is self-control. You cannot ever, ever, EVER appear desperate or needy.

The one who needs the other person least wins. Period.

Personally, I never approach girls. I've been pulling very good looking chicks since I was 14. I always minded my own business.
In fact, when my game started to decrease it was because I was losing my self control and wanting or needing a relationship or sex.

The best absolute way I got over my decrease in game. I started writing. If it interests you, you must look into a creative/physical outlet to take out frustration.

From my point of view. To say it bluntly, you need to get a life. This is when my game died. I got fired twice in a row from two straight jobs. My game went to shit. I just had no confidence in myself.
Then I read a book called "Mastery" by Robert Greene. I went back to what made me successful in all parts of life when I was 14. Sports, investing and hot bitches.

It's not pretending that you don't care. It's actually not caring at all what people think of you. Especially girls.

PS: It may sound like a pussy book but, The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron is a great tool, she coached Martin Scorsese.

I'm still in my mid 20s, so if you're older this may not apply to you. But, I think older guys need to get back their youth.
Anyways good luck.

Couldnt agree more with you. I'm working on this believe it or not.

Yes I'm working on this. As a matter of fact there were times in my life where I stopped caring about the world and I attracted people to me like flies.

One phenomenon that you touched upon was unemployment. In the past when I became employed from times when I was looking for a job, women would pop up out of nowhere. There is no scientific research for this but its happened and I cant explain it.

As to not caring you bring up an extremely important point! I know for a fact that as soon as I know a girl likes me I just hang back and stop caring, as if I stopped being attracted to her. Then shes puddy in my hands.

I'll be that way from now on with 9s and 10s for sure!!! Another powerful tool that supports what youre saying is to feel very good about yourself that no outside forces can influence you. This alone has gottern me laid!

Will look into it.

What do you use for taping and analysing your approaches? Can you use an iPhone or do you need some sort of mic?

You can still get those gadgets but they cost a bit more now. But try to get a small mini spy cam that you can stick on your t shirt. If the girl ask just say its ur MP3 player.

There is no problem recording without consent in a public area at where i live. But do check out the law and regulations in your country.

P/S: I got the wrong one without a sticking adhesive and have to hold mine which is quite inconvenient.

'Gorilla Mindset' by Mike Cernovich is great. However.. the best way to improve your inner game with women is by improving other areas of your life. This increase of 'inner game' will simply be a by-product

I reckon the most important things you could do would be to:

1. Work towards a project you are passionate about every day
2. Improve your friend circle

I;ll be working on that project you suggested too.
