Man. He speaks English better than I speak the other 2 languages I know, one of which I have had countless conversations with.

I think it's worth noting that English is the most widely spoken language on the planet. Pretty much every modernized nation has some form of English education in their school and a many people, especially younger, tend to know some English across the map. Putin especially being an ex-KGB member during the Cold War era likely had to learn English at a fluent level to perform his duties.

As much as I would love to be fluent in other languages, I'm very grateful that English is my first language. It is certainly the most useful language to know if you are only going to learn on of them.

Putin does a great job in public speeches. He's got confidence, speaks in a low tone, rarely raises his voice and delivers his arguments rationally.

What's also important, when he speaks he addresses the listener as well as the general public in a way that could be best summed up as
Hey, listen, I want to talk to you and I've got something to say. Unlike him, the vast majority of today's leading politicians do the exact opposite. They speak to themselves and recite meaningless PC phrases to signal high status, while the audience claps and gratefully absorbs every piece of shit that comes out of their mouth.

That's why you'll rarely see excerpts of Putin's speeches on mainstream TV stations, whereas puppets such as Hillary, Merkel or Cameron can be seen and heard everywhere. A common person might find wisdom in Putin's arguments, and that would be too dangerous.

These two ones are new to Inessa' channel. Interesting watch (Both interviews are from 2013, so the one on debt and economy came before oil prices tanking and the sanctions.)

I once had him pass by me with his entourage in a hotel lobby in Asia, and can attest that Putin is radiating badassness.

Funnily, later as I was taking a piss, a plain clothes Asian secret service agent with an earpiece was standing next to me in the mens, executing the same act, and kept turning his head towards me. Finally he piped up asking me: "Ruski?"
