For the travelers here, whats your gaming strategy overseas? Im meeting a lot of girls who can soeak english, but im having difficulty gaming them. My american game doesnt work in Europe because the girls cant understand American humor. The clown game that works on American girls, doesnt work on European girls. I feel like my conversations are too logical and mechanical with them. Its almost like talking to a 12 year old. I have to slow down the conversation and use less vocab. How can I engage these girls emotionally?

Honestly this is an area I'm thinking of exploring as well.... Till now ive been approaching girls in English and I think its becoming a hinderance.

I am fluent in German but don't feel comfortable gaming in it. There have been instances (pretty often I might say) where girls are really caught off guard by English, are not comfortable speaking English or simply don't want to speak English... and I think I am leaving opportunities on the table. Im going to test gaming in German (as much as I hate it) to see if the results change.

LOL @ using logic on girls in general. Since when did that work on American girls?
I agree that their humor is different. If you're going for a girl whose English is a 2/10, just use lots of body language. Theres always google translate on your phone for the necessary parts, and finally your foreign mystique should spark some interest by default. I personally just use online groups to filter out the non-English speakers

Just don't use stupid American humor. Europeans aren't fond of it. Express yourself more clearly and watch how you structure your sentenses and what kind of vocabulary you use and you will be fine.
