From a physiological perspective, there have been tons of studies done which show without any doubt that regular sex is highly beneficial to one's health and longevity. I'm guessing too that sex with someone that you like and enjoy confers the highest benefits as opposed to 5am one night stands which involve a whole bunch of other unhealthy actions which would negate any benefit you would get from the sex.

Unfortunately, most of the frustration comes from the pursuit of sex from flaky, unreliable females or from women who you've been fucking for a while and are starting to demand more from you. The pursuit is what gets most guys distracted and discombobulated and I think this is the reasoning behind abstinence advocated by pretty much all religions. Periodic abstinence is good from a disciplinary and focus perspective. Ultimately, I agree with the guys here who have said that moderation and balance is key, just like it is in all other aspects in life.

But there is no doubt about the health benefits from regular sex.

If it has purpose, in my opinion, TEMPORARILY "going MGTOW/Monk", has value.


As many probably know, I have started several low capital business ventures
(and most of them are doing fine). That takes a lot of my valuable time, effort and money.


When I add the gym and meditation to the mix I simply do not have time for girls. I will eventually, but not right now.


In short, I would simply would not be a good boyfriend (or fuck buddy - I had to ditch mine, sadly) because I can't invest any time/money into any relationship.


When financials, and by body, get much better (and I am confident that they will), then I will get back into the SMV market. Until then...I am out.


I am by no means a MGTOW, Game denialist or whatever. I just believe that any man needs to do "monk mode" at least once in a lifetime, when he is trying to achieve something worth pursuing. Also take into consideration is the expression of sexuality healthy or unhealthy. Is it quickies late at night after a alcohol binge at a night club. Or is it two healthy individuals practising Kama Sutra techniques and having multiple orgasms. The quality of the sexual experiences should definitely impacts an individuals overall well being. The better the sex the better impact it has on everything else.
