Today, I talked to a girl in a quiet room full of people on the first day I met her. Not a big achievement for some, huge achievement for me.

I've never been the "go getter" type when it came to women. I've been more laid back in that sense. Cute girl in a room with other people, I would assume she's taken and just chill unless she came to me. And if the room was quiet, there was nearly a 0% chance I would talk to her.

90+% of my lays have come from taking advantage of connections I have. For example, I would talk to my sister's friends AFTER she introduced me. Or I would talk to a girl that's a friend of the group I'm at the bar with (but it's loud in the bar, so it's much easier to have a private conversation).

I almost backed out when I noticed the lady in front of us getting uncomfortable that we were talking about freaky shit (this girl will do ANYTHING with guacamole). But I stuck in there, subject changed like 4 minutes later.

Got her number at the end, it's not like we fucked or anything...yet......

Nice. Did the same thing today in a Starbucks with two girls. Choked and didn't get the number though.. Still, it's great to realize the sky isn't going to fall if you talk to a girl you've never met before.
