The emotional core of women never changes. I was listening to this old song from 1981 this morning:

I always loved the delivery of the song is as quick as scattershot, but 'eeeeeeeeasy' is drawn out in a sneer over almost two bars.

One of the main components of Toxic Femininity is Arrogance, and they will react to restriction like a child: "Don't tell me what to do!"

Since they're trapped in their own heads, they're largely clueless about the world, so end up believing they are the first woman to ever break down social conventions about female behaviour.

This wouldn't be so bad, but roughly 10-15 years later, they then believe they are the first woman to ever furiously-proselytize of the negative consequences of that behaviour.

This is when the furious slut bags the clueless beta for marriage in the 31-33 age bracket and lectures about casual sex and waiting for luuuuurve; or the short-haired feminist 'rediscovers' her long-haired, homemaking femininity in the 38-43 bracket and lectures about hating men; or the 48-50 year old gives up her power career to have a seachange in a rural country for 'the quiet life' of homemade jams and patchwork quilts, giving lectures about materialism and careerism whilst wearing a $300 R.M. Williams ensemble as she lies on a $700 throw rug she saw in 'Country Living'.



It's all predictable female behaviour from those who are always driving towards Happiness, but never somehow quite getting there. Mainly because they always slap away the hand of anyone who offers them the tried-and-tested map that led other women safely-home.

So, knowing this, all I can say about the Typist in question is this:

Wasn't she eeeeeeeasy? Isn't she pretty in pink?
