Good info guys. A lot of stuff I have already inplemented, but the software is a new idea. I've been doing everything manually.

Sure, the photos are often staged and the settings insincere, but think about the alternative. Consequently, when it comes to an accurate picture of who you might consider dating, Match and the rest will never catch up as they cannot possibly provide a fresh stream of actual, current pictures of people living their lives.

From the pictures, a person can also get a feel for other aspects of the person in the picture - what she wears, what she likes, activities she does, what her friends look like, etc. etc. Instagram is all about this, and fakers can be quickly detected. Narcissistic as it may be, I would not ignore this trend.

This is right on. I missed the first wave of the apps which have now found their course (death).

Doesn't this also give you the ability to ditch facebook entirely?

I'm sick of being the only person on there anyway that posts an interesting article, doesn't virtue signal, and actually will debate something thoughtfully vs. being labeled a "troll."

The 60-70% drones on facebook aren't worth anybody's time, not that you guys didn't know that already. Maybe it's time for a full dismantling.

You can search for hashtags and locations. For example, you could find all users who recently posted a picture with the hashtag #bangkok or everyone who posted a picture and geotagged it to a location, for example "RCA - Route 66". There was a time when Instagram didn't allow to message other users but nowadays you can message and chat with others just like on every other social media app. The big advantage is - as OP already pointed out - that you have much less and much weaker competition on Instagram as there are not many guys who have a good IG page with a big following.

I started taking Instagram seriously about 3 months ago. Since then I have used various methods to grow my page and will hit 10,000 followers (with 1,000 to 2,000 likes for most pictures) at the end of the month (I am currently growing at a rate of ~100 new followers per day). I only post 1 pic every week or so but I try to only post high quality pics. I haven't tried to get laid from Instagram so far as I am still focusing on growing but I did get some messages and phone numbers from good looking girls in my "niche". If I actively searched and messaged girls on Instagram, I am pretty sure it would be a lot more effective than Tinder.

I wouldn't recommend to buy fake followers unless your followers-to-like ratio is outstanding. My ratio is pretty good. I could probably buy 10k followers and nobody would notice because having 20k followers and more than 1k likes on your pictures doesn't look suspicious. If you plan to monetize your site by promoting products of other companies in your niche once you are big enough, you shouldn't buy any fake followers at all.

I will probably write a datasheet in the next couple of months. Fisto's sheet is good and already covers many things. However, it doesn't really cover the most important aspect: how to really grow your page and monetize it. In the end the amount of followers defines your status on Instagram. With a big following comes power. Just imagine having 100k+ followers of a certain demographic and target group and then marketing some of your own products to them via your page.

I'm not that impressed with the quality of the chicks commenting on these guys pics. Any of us could pull chicks like that off okc with just 5 profile pics we never need to update.

Side thought: another strategy could be to link your IG to your okc profile but put all of your shirtless body/lifting pics in IG because those kinds of pics are acceptable within that platform but they are not acceptable directly on okc. It's a way to show off without being labeled a douche.

I, too, would like to add to the chorus of getting a pro or program to manage your followers for you.

I started out at 80, honest hard-gained followers. These were real people who actually liked my stuff. But man it was some slow ass growth. And I have a pretty decent page with good content. But I would post some of my best work and get, like 35 likes on a good day.

After using a service, I now have over 750 followers. Several of my pieces have over 150 likes and my phone is blowing up with IG notifications all day.

Out of this, so far I have been:
-Hit up for a commission job to make some art for someone. He backed out, but prior to this I wasn't even getting likes, much less asked to do paid commissions
-Opened by some artist chick, I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread. Wasn't my type, but cool to connect with an artist across the country who was quite skilled
-Pipelined this girl in Mexico who is pretty hot. At least a HB7. Did one comment on her page and she moved it to DM, where we started sending each other pics and flirting/sexualizing the convo. I plan on going there soon, and now I have a chick that's very eager to meet with me and show me around when I get there. I think my artwork did a lot of DHV for me.

My entire page has been focused around my work, the only thing that identifies me is my small profile pic, where I'm custom suited up. Girls that would comment on my work asked for FB or other social media so they could see my face. I take this as a good sign.

I think to really make the most of this, I need some cool lifestyle DHV pics doing some cool shit, shirtless at the beach, around cool people, no selfies etc. Basically I need to put more of myself in there. This combined with my art would give me a pretty solid profile. Apparently it really does "go down in the DM".

So yeah this shit works.

2) where are the follows coming from? Do you set what you want your target audience to be? Are they coming from followers of other ig users who are popular?

I know one of them has a "3 day" edition I want to see how many I can test out just for the day but I'm leaning towards instagress because I'm not trying to leave my computer on for days at a time.....hell with that

1) Yes. A lot of the people I follow via followliker will either follow me back or like a couple of my pictures or like all of my pictures (!) or follow back and like a lot of my pictures.

2) They are coming from other followers of IG users who are in the same niche as I. This way I can make sure that the people I am following with followliker are already interested in the niche and it is very likely that they will be interested in my page and thus follow me and like my pictures. But there are many other ways to auto-follow users. For example, you can follow everyone who posted a picture in a particular location or with a particular hashtag. Or users who liked or commented a particular picture.

Depending on how many follows you are doing per day and on what intervall you set the software, you only have to leave your computer on for 8-10 hours per day.

3) All of them work in the same way. All of them should give you users who like your content, that is if you target the right people.

Instagram is straight horrible for meeting girls. Unless you're famous.

It's a bunch of girls looking for their egos stroked. Tried several different methods

Yelp is also horrible unless you go to the events in person.

Did 1 month experiments on both and both were terrible. Girls aren't there to met random guys. Waste of time.

Had plenty of followers and good pics. etc.

Instagram is only good if you know the already or meet them in person beforehand.

Online dating or day or night pickup only.

My method of using Instagram to my advantage is mostly done through actual approaching as opposed to online.

1. Approach girl as you normally would.

2. Run your routine game, but make sure to mention Insta and get her to follow you on Instagram and vice-versa.

3. Text as normal, but this time hopefully with a strong Instagram account which shows your cool lifestyle and builds your social proof and value (through high followers, likes and cool pictures).

Also, if you've read Suits' "Party Host Game" data sheet, the combination of getting girls Instagram and inviting them to your own parties is very effective.

I spent about 5 minutes on instagram, there is a messaging system, you list your hometown. I assume the girls with thousands of followers have a gazillion guys messaging them, so maybe go for the girls with a smaller following, who are new to instagram and are less likely to be flooded with messages.

I created an account and dumped some of my cool photos in it. I'm into photography so I tossed a few of my travel photos in there and also my personal photos. I probably should have had my personal photos in another account separate from my niche photography account.

Anyone experience in this. Is it possible to have a niche account and also a personal photo feed all in one insta account?

I don't want to be all over the place but I also don't want to manage multiple accounts.

Just tried the Boostgram 3-day trial. Went from 250 to 400 followers in 3 days. Would recommend. Gonna trial all of the other services as well.

No luck getting girls to reply though, I've messaged 6-7 so far. None of them follow me so I suppose they don't get the notifications. It will be interesting to see if I get more replies as I climb towards 1000.

Hard to tell if it increased the likes, I use Tags4Likes to tag all of my photos to get 30-50 on each photo. I don't really care about likes though, I imagine that girls only look at your follower count.

It lets you pick the sources for tags, I chose fitness-related tags as I post a lot of fitness photos.

I'll try out Instagress next, thanks for that tip.
