Old news story but worth checking out; doesn't suprise me considering how much a violation of natural law modern feminism is for both sexes; trying to convince a woman she should love being fat and ugly, or have no qualms about taking in 100 dicks by age 30, and aspire to her life away for a corporation that doesn't give a shit about her just for "female empowerment" sounds like a completely wasted life. "Liberated" my ass, they were less of a prisoner when they were back in the kitchen.

Hell modern women would be better off still having the right to vote denied than being the victims of 3rd wave feminism that they are.

Doesn't surprise me one bit and your post hit the nail on the head as to why. Feminism is basically a movement aimed at circumventing nature - which is impossible. So, women turn to medication to help rid themselves of the depression that naturally results from this Rockefeller-funded social justice "movement" all while blaming the evil male patriarchy for the woes they put upon themselves by fighting back against their own biology.

Not surprising, but it's nice to have a study confirming what our experience is telling us. Compared to their grandmothers, who were allegedly suffering under the evil patriarchy, modern women are miserably unhappy.

It'll be interesting to see if studies like this gain some prominence in the public. I bet mainstream media and academia will immediately float the narrative "this shows that feminism hasn't achieved its goals, we need more of it".

First off, that article is almost seven years old to the date -- June 1, 2009.

Second, there is a temporal problem in the article, right in the title:

This article is a form of therapy, a form of preservation of ego identity. It is rife with the inaccuracies so emblematic of second-wave feminism -- historical reality: "the right to work" and actual reality: that sexism is the reason that white women didn't rise to the top of the corporate world; Asian and Indian women are putting the "sexism" hypothesis to bed. But this is article is primarily catharsis, a sort of smoothing out of an identity battered and warped by the passage of time. Hence:

I get that these articles can be infuriating and downright delusional, but unless you are giving us breakdown of why we need this to see a certain article, it's just white noise.

No one could! But it means we have to work harder to eradicate oppressive sex roles. Freedom and happiness is just around the corner. One more tradition to remove, one more natural value to desecrate, and this feeling of worthlessness and self-hatred will disappear. Or maybe red hair instead of blue hair. Almost there, utopia.

Building on what 2Wycked said, let's take another look at this headline: "Women are more unhappy despite 40 years of feminism, claims study."

"Despite?!" That's pretty presumptuous and pretty biased, don't you think? It just assumes feminism would make women happy as if that's a given, la de dah.

This is the wrong way to write a headline. My old editors would have shut this right down because of its inherent bias.

The correct way would have been: "Study shows women have grown unhappier after decades of feminism." That presumes nothing and is accurate to boot.

Journalism has grown so bad these days that they can't even write a simple headline without exposing their political leanings. What an awful field. I remember back when reporters at least tried to pretend they were evenhanded in their coverage.

This supports what we all know. Women are not wired to deal with unlimited choices. It's harmful to their emotional wellness and soul. They need to be guided by strong masculine figures, from their father to husband, they were guided through life in this manner for centuries. Collectively, they have become more depressed, anxious and unsatisfied with their freedom.

Just wondering - but how are men doing in comparison? It could be that the lower rates of happiness has nothing to do with gender. Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt that feminism has caused a lot of problems. But maybe in this particular case, the main culprits might be social media, constantly being bombarded by TV ads, etc and not solely feminism.

^That's the main problem with these articles. People want to feel their unhappiness isn't their fault or responsibility, so they want proof that sexism, racism, the government, etc. is the problem. Hence, women "still" aren't happy despite 40 years of feminism.

Like I spoke about recently in "The Big Stall," men are very unhappy too, but we can't blame sexism. So we get lengthy, meandering articles long on personal vignettes, and character attacks and short on any real substance.

True. Men are quietly suffering too, partly because it's too damn hard to get laid. I see hordes of men going home with blue balls every Friday/Saturday night from the bustling downtown area in my hometown.

You shouldn't have to jump through hoops to fuck a 6. But alas, such is the predicament in the good ol' US of A...

Agreed, men are more miserable as well. It seems in the USA, men have two "successful" routes of finding a good woman...

#1) Finding a good woman in college. But this is tough because as a 20 year old man, you most likely don't know exactly what it takes to make a good woman and you don't even know who you are or who you want to be as a man. Add to the fact there are so few good women in the USA, this becomes a very rare occurrence and most men either land a shitty woman, get stuck in a marriage they grow to regret, or they find no one at all.

#2) Becoming a very successful alpha, who has both money and great understanding of life/game. This is also very rare as well, and becoming more rare as the economy goes down the shitter even further.

So most guys are marginalized, at best. A world of potential and desire, but with little to no opportunity. They are marginalized by a system that holds men back to promote women, all to get women to stupidly destroy their own family's and happiness for some false goal of "being equal to a man" and "don't need a man" BS rhetoric..

The women are extremely unhappy, because they are placed in a role they are not naturally suited for, have too much pressure, and can't find a man to meet their needs because they think way too highly of themselves in a society full of marginalized men.

I saw it put best... "Women create life, men defend life. Voting and war is the defense of life, and women have no place doing either". Until we get women out of the voting booth, will there be an end to this madness.

I've been around the world and bedded women of all shapes and sizes and colors like many of you and while the outward facade of them may be different (a Canadian Chick will arrive from work and guzzle a bottle of wine, order a pizza and blow you on the couch and swallow - a Japanese chick will arrive from work, clean the house, cook you dinner, shower and do her makeup and hair and roll out in heels if you go out)...the truth about women?

There's just no pleasing them.

Not just Feminism (and I am shocked, SHOCKED! I say, that the Feminism that entailed trading keeping the homestead in order, sleeping in, preparing food, rearing the kids and shopping to entering the machine and dealing with all of the bullshit of a job has somehow made women less happy!), but just in general...

- You bust your ass working 60 hours a week so she can spend time at home with the kid? "We don't spend enough time together!"

- You don't work a lot of hours and have a lot of time to spend with her? "You aren't ambitious enough! You don't make enough money!"

- You have a fat bankroll, so fat you and her can fly private to a 5-star in the Maldives for three weeks? "Money doesn't impress me!"

- You just get a long-weekend B&B in the Adirondacks or Muskoka? "Julia's husband just flew them private out to the Maldives for three weeks!"

- You lift and keep in shape? "You're too attractive to other women!"

- You don't lift and are getting a little out of shape? "Youre fat, and old..."

- Your family loves her and treats her amazing? "You've had a perfect life, your family is so boring!"

- Your family treats her like shit? "Your mother's a bitch!"

- You have a big dick and fuck her into the ground every time? "You have too much sexual experience I feel inferior!"

- You don't do that? "You aren't satisfying me sexually!"

- She wants to go back to school to finish her degree or whatever and you support her? "You're a doormat!"

- She wants to go back to school and finish her degree or whatever and you tell her that she can't because these kids and these bills aren't paying for themselves? "You're stifling me!"

...

The sooner young men realize this, the better they'll be.

The Suffragettes were just middle-and-upper class women who didn't work but wanted given to them what it had taken hundreds of years for men to earn. Thus they didn't understand what they had once they were given it.

Now they abuse it without consequence (for now).

Something that grows from such foundations was always going to fail women, and by extension Western civilisation.

Nature always wins, and the weak submit to the strong. They've chosen not to submit to their own men and take down their own societies with them, so they'll be submitting to someone else's soon enough. Then it's "bye bye feminism, hello kitchen my old friend".
