How are those kids going to see themselves when they reach fifty??

Maybe it's all the fucking soy in today's diet. Maybe it's part brain washing. Whatever it is - it's scary as hell in the face of an Islamic invasion. Don't expect those chaps to jump at the chance to defend Britain or to make a stand against the increasing Muslim take over of their country.

I get that, but the dramatic drop in the number after 25 is suspicious. What would account for that? A modern 25 year old was raised with the same diet and programming a 23 year old was, yet there's such a drop in the number. The cause is most likely the stern realities of entering the workforce and starting their own families.

Look brother - I appreciate your desire for answers but I doubt that our group here will be able to nail it down to one definite reason. The Millennials may be pecking away at mobile phones and hedge doubts about their masculinity, but genetically they do not differ from our forefathers who themselves had to face highly stressful scenarios at every single stage of history.

Now I get that today's generation is facing a unique mix of issues past generations didn't have to deal with. But at the same time - they're not exactly being asked to step into an LCVP and storm the shores of the Normandy either, are they? How much stress and frustration do you think those poor bastards were exposed to? Did any of them consider themselves anything less than 100% masculine? I highly doubt it.

In fairness the in the Victorian era there was a big influx of sexual prudery, to the point that a lot of men had to see psychiatrists to treat sexual repression.

I've heard that a lot of the typical "white knight" rhetoric, such as "real men never hit women!", or "a gentlemen always defends the honor of a lady!" date back to this era.

Hence why in some ways there's a crossover between social conservatism and sex-negative feminism; some social conservatives today still insist on maintaining a prudish image of every woman as a "proper lady" even when she's more akin to Jezebel in the Bible.

You may want to do a bit more reading up on British political history with a statement like that.

It has nothing to do with Thatcher who is arguably the most conservative prime minster in modern British history. It was the next Labour government post 97 that had an a much more open door policy. That was Tony Blair and Gordon Brown Labour governments and then continued with the current Conservative administration.

The emasculation likely occurred during Tony Blair first premiership.

Blair followed Bill Clinton in adopting the neo-liberal free trade which had been adopted by Labour's and the Democrat's apparent political rivals. The conservative parties in the west have adopted liberal social mores in return.

Thatcher destroyed the miner's unions which was the last militant group left of the Old Left. The heavy industrial economy in general was replaced by a consumer-driven service economy which suits the demographic group which used to buy things for and run the home.

Blair followed the same pattern but pumped up fake house prices and immigration. New Labour actually went out into the Third World to look for immigrants to bring in.
