Besides the crappy CGI explosions and backdrops, I'd totally see it. That situation is my worst nightmare of all time.

Also where was Chuck Norris? Didn't see him in the trailer.

It was presented through Alex Jones as a project where Chuck Norris was involved. I don't know exactly the details.

Looks heavy-handed & cheap. I don't watch movies to be proselytized to.

I agree that it doesn't have a big budget. It's definitely a message outside of Hollywood. I don't think there is proselytizing going on though.

I can see how this could not be a mainstream flick. The premise is actually quite intriguing.

Still won't see it though. It looks like shit and the trailer alone made me cringe about the inaccuracies per second. Just look at the soldiers going door to door, they have zero equipment to speak of except for their guns. That's an on-base loadout, not an in-field one.

Chuck Norris is one of the biggest purveyors of right-wing paranoia in Hollywood. This is the same guy who was making schlock films like "Missing in Action" and "Invasion USA" in the 1980s, and trying to capitalize off of the paranoia and jingoism of that era. "Vietnam is holding our guys hostage!" "The Russians are coming to invade us!"

All he's done here is update it with new bugbears, new paranoid fantasies, and new evil goblins coming to get Joe Sixpack in Pudwacksville, USA.

C-grade bilge, nothing more.
