Let's say you meet a girl at a bar/club on a friday night or saturday night. What's your first text to her? When are you sending the first text to her? Next day? Same night? 3 days? 1 week?


For me, my first text is: "Hey this is XXX from XXX bar. How did your weekend go?"

I'm at a sticking point here because I get few responses from the numbers I get.

Don't say who it is or where you met. Make her do the guesswork. If shes at all into you, she won't need to be told. Keep it basic, don't ask how her weekend went and if you do ask questions don't use a question mark or any punctuation.

Yeah for some reason girls hate good grammar and polite inquiries in initial texts. It's the weirdest fucking thing ever.

I'd go for a simple "Yo" or "hey wats up" because females love mystery.

Exactly what Red_Pillage and h3ltrsk3ltr said. And in the event that she or anyone ever texts you first, always say something like "who is this" and "Oh the French-Cuban mixed girl with the boots?" or something to that effect even though you know perfectly well it is the vanilla-ass blond.

If I get a girl's number, I usually text her a little later after meeting. That could mean 20 minutes, or 2 hours depending on how I gauged her interest level. My go-to first message is always "boobies."

I send a goofy emoticon in LINE or something. That night. Or take a funny or suggestive selfie together while we're hanging out and send it to her. Faux romantic poses work well to get the hamster spinning.

It's just an icebreaker to establish a dialog moving forward, really, but best to keep it light and fun, in my opinion. A good sign if she responds that night or immediately in the morning, though not a complete lost cause if she doesn't.

This is with girls who don't speak much English. With a girl that I can chat with more I'll usually send a spin off of a memorable joke or nickname I'd already used with her that night.

Solid game means you made an impression on the girl and that she's likely to remember
1) who you are
2) how you made her feel

If it's a what's app I've been using a funny picture of an old Egyptian statue that looks like it's having a wank. With caption "can't tell what's going on here, any ideas?

It is usually answered with the crying with laughter emoji and I proceed from there.
