Don't forget São Paulo State, Espirito Santo, Paraná, and Goiás as well. Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso Sul have great talent too. The latter states (Mato and Mato Sul) have a great influx of people from Paraná that moved north for agricultural opportunities mixed with the Pocahontas type beauties from Amazonas.
Good to know Brosemite. I am thinking of going to Cuiaba (Mato Grosso) instead of Campo Grande (Mato Grosso Sul), because the girls there seems more DTF, like in Manaus. And if you are right, about the whiter mix from Parana, than it could be a hidden jewel even better than Manaus.
Belem, due to historical immigration reasons, also seems to have a higher European mix.
But they still don't compare to Manaus, in terms of size, so there wont be as much quantity of 18 to 24 yr. olds.

@ offthereservation; I like your original choices of cities. I will take a look, especially at your 2 first choices. Since Cayenne is in my native language, I actually don't think i'd like it, I probably want to stick to Spanish. Maybe Portuguese.
As for Lima: why don't you like it apart from ONS? Aren't there quite a lot of nice girls at Miraflores, with good education level and good spirit? I will need to check a bit of the reports in the forum but maybe they are not really about what I am looking for.
...
Keep the nice answers coming, thanks!
Ok sounds good but don't discount Cayenne until you visit. To me it looks like a very nice place to make a life.
As for Lima read what I wrote here and here. It wasn't about Lima but I think it applies in some sense. Peru is very mysterious and a Westerner will not fully understand their motivations without years of experience there. Big city vibe of Lima does not seem to be what you are asking for in terms of settling down.

- In Lima, I have the impression that the ''many gringo scene'' doesn't influence things (yet?) and that even the nicest girls (what I am looking for) have so much envy to be with European guys.
There are a lot of gringos here in Miraflores, but I don't see it as much of a problem outside of it affecting only a couple venues and areas like Larcomar & Pizza Street/Calle Berlin.
Gringos seem to cycle in and out of Lima staying only a few nights at most as they are typically going to other areas of Peru like Cusco, Mancora, Ica or to do some ecotourismo in the Andes or Amazon. I've also seen a lot of gringos chasing drugs and pros here in Miraflores too so they aren't "competition" as much as they are an annoyance.
If you have good Spanish there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to venture outside of Miraflores/Barranco anyways. Lima is massive and there are numerous other hunting grounds for whatever you want. There are definitely options for you to find a nice LTR as I highlighted here in my data sheet. I don't know about an 8 though, a 6/7 is more realistic here in Lima.

How do you figure? Are 99% of the foreign tourists in Medellin any competition whatsoever and are they really anything other than an annoyance?
I don't think the competition is that bad but a lot of gringos give ''us'' a really bad image (drugs/prostitution combo) and that certainly doesn't help the nice girls to have a good image towards us. This is my thought. Also, although you can't have prejudices just based in one experience, you know I've had pretty bad luck here. And yeah, we know what reputation the Paisa girls have.
And well, Tinder here might be the worst in all Latin America big cities, I think it shows something.
@ chochemonger1:
Actually, I must admit that I am more and more looking into Rio for 3 months starting in the end of July. The Real is so bad that I think I can afford it. Obviously, I believe that what I am looking in my thread is going to be quite difficult in Rio but well.. I like the idea of the Olympic Games there and if you share a flat with some locals, it can be not as expensive as one would thinkg, especially if not staying only for the O.G.
In your world, Colombian nice and educated women are much less willing for a serious relation than the Brazilian women? I am a bit surprised though I am certainly learning more and more.
@ offtheresrvation/designate:
Thanks for the info about Lima, definitely useful. Amazing data sheet designate!

Killarmy, I'll try to make this simple for you. I've never had more than a mini-relationship my whole life and at this point, I'm 100% sure that all my future bangs will be pumps and dumps with maybe some mini-relationships mixed in. All that being said, Colombia in general would be one of the last places on planet earth where I would go to seek long term relationship material. I say go there to bang, go there to eat mediocre food, and go there to laugh at little guys with mullets and graphic t-shirts, then get the hell out of there, but to each his own.

Agree Merenguero for the most part......that is why an ideal strategy for those who want to settle down in South America is 6 months in Colombia and 6 months in Brazil.
The negatives about long term relationships in Colombia apply to a lot of Latin American countries nowadays.

Mexican girls are some of the sweetest, loyal girls I have come across in my travels. They make good girlfriends/wives. Both those cities I mentioned have better looking girls compared to the smaller towns in Mexico that I've been. If you can find one that cooks well, and comes from a good family you'll be setup nicely. Just make sure none of her brothers or uncles are narcotraficantes
Thanks! It's really difficult to decide when you look into Mexico though. You have sooo many different opinions. Wouldn't you include Monterrey? What are your thoughts about Merida? Any coast city like Veracruz?
Last but not least, which +200,000 people city would have the biggest university % of students?
Gracias amigo!

RE: Where to live in Latin Am. if u are looking for a 8 or + for a serious relation.
As a peruvian man, i should tell Don't come to Peru if you want a LTR with a beautiful girl, i have a post of my country, it is true peruvian girls are crazy for whites, but Most of them are really interested in money or status to start a relationship, it is difficult to find a 8's, if you find one and you start something with her, be sure many rich peruvians will try to quit her from you. I have never been in Mexico, but I have dated with 2 mexicans, one from Sonora and another from Monterrey, they were super lovely, friendly, good lovers, thread me as king and they were so beautiful, Personally i don't date peruanas, but if i have to choose one country to start a serious relationship, i definitely agree with some members, i think Guadalajara or Monterrey can be great. One information more, In my university, we have a club exchange, every year we received 60 mexicans and all of them were so amazing.

i disagree, i was living in medellin for 3 months and 1 month in lima. the girls in lima are much more independent and educated and even 30-40% speak english, in medellin it was maybe 5 %. Also i met much easier girls in lima from good and rich families and most of them paid for their drinks or try to pay the 2nd round, i never had this in medellin.
So i am sure you can get a educated and richer girl in lima much easier and you will have a much higher bonus as a white guy and they have some cuties. i still have some contact to some of them and they have also the financial possibilites to come to europe.
in this cities i always had 1 girl i saw several times and try to build a connection and banged the other girls for ons.
in medellin it was very hard to get to know rich girls, since they mostly stay in their social group and i didnt had so many tinder matches, so i got most from colombiancupid, whereas in lima i had many "wealthy" girls matches on tinder and they picked me up in their car, impossible in medellin

Rio Grande do Sul State (Porto Alegre) is broke as shit right now. Less police force, higher unemployment, etc are leading to higher crime rates in what were normally safe neighborhoods before.
thanks for the intel
My bad , my intel was a few years old indeed. Normally, it wouldn't matter, but, given the current economic and political (impeachment of Dilma?) on-going crisis, it seems that Brazil is changing, fast and for the worse.
But a few years ago, Porto Alegre was very safe, developed, charming, world-famous for its sunsets, universities, industries, football clubs, quality of food and life, and women. It seems all this is changing, fast!
Anyway, offthereservation, as we had great exchanges by email, I'm sending you today some quick info on a Brazilian resort, situated quite close to Porto Alegre, and which is still very safe, and golden, and worth a visit.

RE: Where to live in Latin Am. if u are looking for a 8 or + for a serious relation.
@killarmy - Mexico could be a good option. I can only speak to Mexico City and Puebla as main options, though everyone says Guadalajara has beautiful women. Fuck Cancún. Mexico City (DF) and Puebla have okay weather, with Puebla being slightly lower elevation and hotter. I've stayed in Cuernavaca for a time but it is too small for my taste.
Mexico City metro area has 20+ million people so you're bound to find someone your type. Mexican girls in general are not my physical type (they are more obese with much less hips/ass compared to Colombians for example) but just due to the quantity, there was tons of talent in the streets and on Tinder. Mexican girls seem pretty cool, I wouldn't say that bad attitude is a big possibility like with some Paisas, unless you roll with the wrong spoiled "chilanga" from DF.
Puebla was surprisingly solid, and that's coming from a big city guy. Nice laid out town, lots of museums and sites, and cheaper than Mexico City; if you go further than 50 blocks from the city center, it gets cheaper than you can imagine obviously. And you can easily get to Mexico City to party on the weekends or to catch a flight if you wish. Buses take anywhere from 1.5-3 hours to get to the airport. I feel like Puebla is a good balance between the quiet suburb feel of Cuernavaca and the energy of DF. It still doesn't have enough energy for me (neither does Medellin), but you might like it.

I want Brazil to be the least westernized it can be. So that means less economic growth and consumerism. I am glad for the recession, though I would not mention that to a Brazilian. It probably gets you laid 10 to 20 percent than before.
That's funny but has a point.

I was going to recommend Curitiba to the OP, bummer. Nice weather, not many gringos so "fresher" women, just the right size (should be cheap but not too boring). I have a friend from there who always raved about his city...
My other friend is Polish-Brazilian from Porto Allegre, hypes his city too. I haven't been to either place though.
I would go for Chile for the great mediterranean weather. Anywhere you can grow wine, the weather is going to be nice. Decent economy, nice bit of European influence and a bit more conservative and less stuck-up than Buenos Aires? I could picture myself retiring there in a hacienda making my own wine.
Lima is just too huge, it will always feel like a third world metropole.
What about Montevideo? Edit: not sure about Uruguay but Paraguay thread right here /thread-19046...montevideo
