I don't think this requires some kind of analysis on the state of man.

Have you guys read the reporting on this alleged crime? Next to no details how this guy, a left politician put himself in the position of being raped. Likely this is a closet homosexual with a double case of regret (first for having done the deed and then for the false rape charge). Heck he even claims his attacker is heterosexual.

Another possibility is simply this guy doing this as a political ploy, how many points won't you be collecting in your left party circles if you act this forgiving.

No there's more to this story and it has little to do with how men are in 2016.

Sort of related to Bosch's post, but I can't help but read this news article and think about the ending of 1984.

The main character has all this terrible shit happen to him under unbelievably unjust conditions, and has not a single friend in the world or anybody to relate to. His dignity is gone.
