I'm a young guy with a good looking face and slim body, but I've been lax on working out so I'm not buff.

I get approached a lot by average or below average women maybe 5 or 6/10s and under, but usually not by women higher than that. (If I'm well dressed and in a confident move, I sometimes get approached by hotter women at a club, but usually I have had to make the first approach).

If I was "built" or "flashing" a lot of expensive crap, I'd probably get approached by women in the 6-10/10 looks range.

What's you guys experience on this?

You won't get approached by women 8+ in looks. Maybe a few times in your life if you're lucky. This obviously is different if you're driving a lambo or are famous. You might get small hints here and there, but never an outright approach.

I had a friend who had a physique and was a male 8/9 out of 10 like that and he got approached by basic bitches all the time. Nothing over a 7 that I'd ever seen, and even that was extremely rare.

If you look like that, why worry about girls coming up to you? Just go do direct approaches and they'll most likely be receptive.

It's not a woman's job to approach. It's yours.

The physique you posted would not show up under clothes - too skinny and lean.

Your goal shouldn't be how to get girls to approach but how to make your approaches warmer, easier, and more well received.

I've been getting approached more lately. In years past I was never approached.

I think it's my complete and total lack of fucks given. I'm decent looking but short.

You'll never get approached first unless it's by ass ugly girls whom go out of their way to try their luck. Attractive women will position themselves closer to you or give you eyes, but that's about it.

Unless she's shitfaced and you're in the VIP while talking to you trying to find out how you got in for free but she didn't. Odds are miracles like that previous statement usually turn into her trying to find her friends again because she's too shitfaced to think properly and knows it.

One thing I've become aware of as I've gotten better at game, and had more success with women, is that you won't necessarily get approached directly, but you will see lingering eye contact and smiles (invitations for you to approach) a lot more often.

In night venues, over the past 8 months I'd say I've been approached (girl comes up next to you at the bar, starts talking while doing some mild kino herself) by girls 6+ perhaps four times or so.

Boston and Providence are pretty insular and standoffish, though. I've banged 8s but getting blown out by 5s and 6s is the norm.

I'd likely double or triple that number of girl approaches in NYC or LA, just due to cultural differences.

Women approach men? I don't think a quality chick needs to approach a bloke, she gets offers all day, every day.....

Yes, the key to a successful approach is less in what exactly you say, but how it's delivered.

As one woman explained to me, basically any pickup line will work, so long as there's some attraction to begin with, and it's delivered in a confident, relaxed manner, like this is something you do all the time (and it is!)

And women do approach men. Some of my highest quality bangs were from women initiating the interaction. Of course I took it from there, but they approached me.

Of course this isn't going to happen on a regular basis, but it's also not that odd.

Very true. More often than not, men who lack game (or even with less than full confidence game) avoid 8, 8.5+ approaches. Sometimes the nicest, sweetest, most quality (and thirsty) girls are the stunners your average guy is intimated to approach. You ask why so many couples where the girl is 9, 10 (and the guy isn't of equal attractiveness, rich, or famous) its because of this. Your normal 7 girl likely gets more approaches than the knockout 9.

There's a certain flavor of not giving a fuck that gets women's attention. I've only been with a few 8+ chicks in my life and they mostly approached me. It was always in a situation where I was working a room I had status in and was ignoring them. Drove them nuts that a dude with status wasn't paying attention to them and they had to do something about it.

I've been approached by women twice in my life one was a 6 with (in hindsight) many slut tells. Banged a few times over a week or so. 2nd was a cute asian with gravity defying boobs. Banged after a while and added her to the rotation for about a year.

I agree with Global. High quality girls don't get approached as often as you'd think

I take a woman's IOI as a sign to approach. Waiting for things to happen is not fruitful in any endeavor.
