If a fairly ugly girl did the same routine to me in my early 20s/late teens. Good chance I'd be "smitten" by her as well.

The key is that the girl was insecure around men. Women in freaking dive bars won't fall for that I bet.

This seems actually like a useful tool for picking up on girls in a dry spell, like the one I'm having myself right now.

Y'know what, I'm going to learn and practice this "blisshippopnosissy" bullshit, what could it hurt?
