Hey guys,

Just had a girl flake out by sending me an IM on facebook saying she can't make it on Saturday(we had planned to go camping on the beach).

I didn't respond as I'm in no rush to validate her and appear beta. Do you think I should not respond at all, or respond in some way or other? This chick is clearly into me but I suspect she's afraid of being seen as a slut by camping alone with me after we've known each other for a short while. Maybe there's a way to make her regret it or call her out for being afraid of what others think.

It's ultimately not unexpected of her to flake and it's no big deal because I've been recruiting other chicks to ensure I have a healthy circle of potential targets at all times, but I'd love to be able to respond correctly to this situation so that if not this time, I'll bang her in the near future.

Big move for a girl you barely know.

I think you bit off more than you could chew.

Camping on the beach I think should be a little further down the pike.

I would just ignore her for now, and re-engage saying something like:

"I am sure you have been trying to get in touch with me, but I have been out of town (or insert whatever is most logical for your Game steez)..."

Thanks G. Yeah maybe I rushed it a bit. Was hoping that being bold would get me a bang. It's confusing sometimes to correctly measure how forward you should be in an interaction but I'll nail it sooner rather than later.

We only met a few times playing the part of zombies in Brad Pitt's upcoming World War Z movie. Maybe I can weave some of that into the convo and re-engage her as you say.

I reckon I'll leave her for a week or so and work on a Latvian for now.
