Krauser stood up for him so had a look at he's stuff.

He's stuff is pretty positive and he's Travel youtube stuff is pretty well done.I'm over the "war".

As The Ligurian says his info is pretty good .Alot of stuff is a rehash but I get something out of it which is the main thing to me...

I reckon Krauser and him would do well in the US.Brit and Aussie lads are not held up to the same standard American men are held up to in the US.If I can do well in the states ,dudes like them who are pua professional would do better.Just on coffee shop game alone.

I don't know either of them or read any of their material. What I will say is London is a very cut-throat market and it has perhaps had a significant impact on them not only as men who game but as people.

The people I know from London seem different to the rest of the country.

I was in NYC last week, and I went to the Tom Torero meetup. I'm no fanboy of his, I just had time and was interested in seeing the crowd.

About 15-18 guys came by – a big circle jerk in a public location. The average age was closer to 24-27, with a number of guys over 30. More than half were white, about 1/3 were Indian, and a grab bag of everyone else. Most guys were in decent to good shape, well dressed with nice oxford shoes. Leather jackets were in…ah, that r-selection preached by the London school of day game (of which I am a fan). A few newbies, a few guys who carried themselves with experience, and everyone in between.

I recall someone around here mentioning that Torero isn’t a bad looking guy, he just looks bad on camera. I would second that; from certain angles, his face looks almost concave. That being said, he does look better in the light. He came off laid-back and easy-going. Well dressed - leather jacket, belt with a big bold buckle with a v-neck strategically positioned just above it, and leather boots.

He thinks that the best cities in the world for game are London and NYC. According to him, no other city in North America compares. Guys spend more time in the gym in NYC than London. Some differences in talent – especially blonde Northern Euro types, for obvious reasons.

Torero spent about an hour of the meet talking about his approach to game and random musings. I’d type it all up for you, but much of it you’d know if you’ve ever watched his YouTube videos or read his blogs. Game, game, gamey stuff. He likes malls.

Truth be told, I don’t remember much of it, as I’ve been at pickup guru speeches before, know the theory, and tuned out. The speech would have been of more interest to a beginner. (I'm not casting shade on his skills or quality of content. The content was good, just that there's not much new under the sun.)

There was no tooling on Krauser or Roosh. He did make a good-natured, passing joke at the lack of protesters, but then again, it was a circle jerk of guys in a highly public location. He did tool guys who would go out in gaggles of four, eight, twenty, and then spam approach, all using the same openers. Burning down locations does no good for anyone.

There was no hard sell of his books, coaching, or materials, in fact, he barely even mentioned that he does this for a living. He did promise new infields from NYC to come out soon (no mention of whether they would be real, but I digress). He said his goal was to meet some guys and let his followers meet each other and find some wings.

Q&A was standard "how would you handle X" questions. No hardball.

The meet and greet was pretty cool. He recommended guys go out with ONE wing at a time, and hit some public areas. He recommended the usual locations in NYC, not that they need any more hyping. All the guys were friendly, eager, and interested.

When I started this write-up, my first thought was that the RVF crew is more legit. In retrospect, it wouldn’t be fair to make an “us vs. them” comparison. There was next to no overlap between RVF and the Torero crew. The only thing I can definitely say is that they trend younger, and are more interested in day game. Only a couple of them have accounts on RVF, and most don’t post regularly. I invited a couple of them to check out RVF – maybe some of them will join in.

In short:
Torero is a cool dude, didn't see his chops but he carries himself with experience, pretty cheerful and down to earth, and no guru complex. 7.5/10 WBB (would buy beer), WNB.

It's disappointing to see conflict between guys that you'd think are generally on the same team. I guess not. I've met both Roosh and Krauser and like them both, though Roosh has gone beyond the hyper focus on game to his credit, Krauser has a lot of game products to sell so it's understandable. I saw Torero in Warsaw a week ago. I know all three guys get laid, no issues there. London daygame is how I actually learned to meet women so I can't knock it. Perhaps the several years of popularity that it enjoyed just went to people's heads. If I could sum up all I've learned about game it'd probably be this:

99% of women aren't going to sleep with you, get used to it, approaching hundreds or thousands of girls will lead you to the 1% that will. Improving your aesthetic, wealth, confidence, etc. will improve your odds by 1-2%. Products are great if they get you to take action, but it's very easy to sink into mental masturbation. When it comes to game, the experience you get meeting women and customizing what works for you based on what you want should be the 99%, while reading/products/forums the 1%.

Tom has a great podcast, and comes across as a cool, intelligent guy. I don't doubt that he employs smoke and mirrors at times to keep his fanboys salivating, if i was ever inclined to pay anyone a dime for any game product then maybe i'd give a shit, as it is i just enjoy the guys output as a diverting and sometimes motivating bit of mental masturbation.
