This is the Full House reboot that's on Netflix right now.

Season 1, Episode 9, about halfway in:

Stephanie: "Every few years Harry* does something crazy to try to date me, but I've never given him a shot."
* Harry is a friend of Stephanie's since age 7 who made appearances on the original series.
Becky: "Maybe you should"
Stephanie: "You know, I'm not getting anywhere with these bad boys… and Harry's got a great job, he's dependable… reliable… and always on time..."
*Becky and Stephanie both grimace visibly*
Stephanie: "… and what girl doesn't want a man who's tall, dark, and… punctual."
Becky: "Every girl's dream" (still grimacing visibly)

I never thought I'd hear red pill on fucking Full House.

On a whim I decided to watch the first episode today, afterall it was one of my favourite shows growing up. Couldn't make it through past 10 minutes.

The one thing I did notice is that Uncle Jesse is still an Alpha with a nice wife and family, while Danny and Joey will still remain single indefinitely.

My girlfriend wanted to check this out so I gave it a shot. I couldn't make it thru halfway of the 1st episode. Pretty much same as you CH, Jesse's the man, I think Danny will still get some ass but Joey is 100% never getting a chick especially doing those fucking stupid impressions.

Yet, in real life, that's the dude who drove Alanis Morissette into the wild hysterics that made her a star...goofy impressions and all. Shows how a little game can overcome most liabilities.

Hell, I never watched a single episode of Full House and even I know Uncle Jesse is the man even though he has a womans name.

I watched all 13 episodes in the course of the 48 hours after it was released and I'm not proud of that.

Having said that, I noticed that dialogue too. Stephanie is (and was) such a basic bitch. I also noticed that DJ's old boyfriend stalks and smothers her like there's no tomorrow and she's put off by him, making clueless Steve wonder why. Surely always being available and writing gay poems about my affection for the one who used to love me will renew her desire for me. Right?

On the flip side, the masculine veterinarian desperately pursues DJ, having known her for just a few weeks, even when she constantly pushes him away and eventually pits him against her gay ex-boyfriend mentioned above. Every masculine man can still be a beta.

In the end, SPOILER, DJ still can't make up her mind between gay and desperate, both of them say fuck this bitch, Kimmy can't commit to her Spanish husband, and Stephanie never settles down. But they're all three okay and happy and everything's alright because girl power and the studio audience gets wet and the credits roll.

All that said, I'd still give it good to Kimmy Gobbler Gibbler.

Back in the day, Lori Loughlin was hot. Jodie Sweetin grew up beautifully.
