Dos Equis Amber is actually not that bad. Or I have shit taste in beer, which is possible.

Amber actually is alright.

Try Negra Modelo.

Try Bohemia

You already see SJW pandering in Brawny paper towels of all places. #StrengthHasNoGender commercials. Fucking ridiculous.

"Strength" is relative, I suppose. Useful strength, though, is not. It's totally quantifiable by sheer amount of weight that can be lifted. Female "strength" is useless in the big and small picture. And I'd be more inclined to believe they're strong if they don't expect anything strenuous to be carried/picked up for them or if they wouldn't lose their shit when some guy pushes some ratchet bitch in a drunken bar room scuffle. And let's not even start with their emotional "strength."

RE: Dos Equis retiring its 'Most Interesting Man in the World'
Why should we care?

If you like Dos Equis or Zima then go drink a fucking Zima, your balls wont dry off because of it.

If you stop or start drinking a particular brand of beer because you liked or disliked their publicity, then their publicists are doing a fucking great job.

Oh, so they retired a beloved character and they replace him with Rosie the fucking Lesbian Demiplatonic Riveter, so fucking what? Their aim is to sway the fools that buy according to emotion. To turn "Dos Equis? What the fuck is that, I aint drinking Mexican Pisswater!" to "Dos Equis? yeah, gimme one of those."

If you bought XX because you "wanted to have an awkward moment, just to see how it felt" or because you wanted sharks to dedicate a week to you, then they did their fucking job. Now that you bought into that, its the SJW crowd turn to buy pisswater. Marlboros where originally marketed towards women because of their "mild" flavour. They never took off as a product until they started their rugged cowboy campaign. And we where all the fucking heroes in high school for smoking Marlboro reds instead of Menthols.

Buy your beer because you like it, because its taste pleases you, because beer is cold and its fucking hot outside, because you want to try a new brand, because you want to get fucking drunk. But never drink because you liked the ad.

Take attention away from attention whores and all that is left is whores.

Team Backwards Primitive.

RE: Dos Equis retiring its 'Most Interesting Man in the World'
Please no
Is Erin Andrews the New ‘Most Interesting Person in the World’ For Dos Equis?

Quote:Jonathan Goldsmith may not be a household name, but rest assured, his work is adored by millions of fans.

That’s because Goldsmith is best known for the Dos Equis commercials in recent years where he portrays “The Most Interesting Man in the World,” a comedic series that turned the 77-year-old actor into a fan-favorite star of the :30 second format and legendary meme inspiration. Since 2007, the Dos Equis commercials have depicted Goldsmith’s unnamed hero has having accomplished unrivaled feats of bravado, ingenuity, and success. Some of his best hits for the Mexican beer include, “He’s won the same lifetime achievement award twice,” “He once warned a psychic,” and “He’s Santa’s Secret Santa.”

But since Goldsmith bowed out of his Dos Equis arrangement earlier this year (the final spot featured the Man blasting off to Mars in pretty epic fashion), the company has been left with a quandary: how do you fill the shoes of a commercially branded massive success?

While the company searches for its next move, they’ve brought in the talents of FOX Sports’ Erin Andrews to fill the void. In a new commercial that debuted yesterday, the sportscaster is introduced with the same iconic voiceover from the originals: “Her personality is so infectious, she’s unable to enter hospitals.”

"the most interesting person". They just killed the series.

When I drink Mexican beer, I prefer Negra Modelo.

Not totally sure; reminds me of Jared Fogle in away; wasn't really beloved for anything other than being some dude who appeared in a series of commercials. (And look how Jared turned out; hope that won't be the case with the Dos Equis guy).

^^ I assumed porsheguy was talking about Erin Andrews? There is nothing about Jonathan Goldsmith that reminds me of Jared Pederast Fogle.

Edit: other than fame through commercials as you pointed out.

RE: Dos Equis retiring its 'Most Interesting Man in the World'
They aren't going to pick Erin Andrews, it is one of a series of commercials they are doing to pick 'the most interesting man in the world' -considering the previous most interesting man is no longer on this world. Dude wanted to retire, so they shot him off into space.
Anyone watch the Luiz Guizman one? Pretty funny when they call him 'the world's 8,439th interesting man in the world.'

If anyone here can be the new dos equis face, fuckin hit them up and join the contest.

I can say without a doubt, the most interesting man in the world does not dring does equis. He even says in the ad" I normally don't drink beer".
The most interesting man in the world most likely drinks Single-Malt Scotch, Cognac, Absinthe, or Wray and Nephew Overproof White Rum.
I think it was a great ad campaign and I enjoyed it. Never made me want to drink a Dos Equis though, just like watching boxing doesn't make me want to drink Tecate or Corona and watching UFC doesn't make me want to drink bud light.

The most interesting man in the world most likely drinks Vodka straight on the rocks.

Fixed that for you
