RE: Where do you go to meet traditionally minded, conservative girls/women in a city?
Put yourself in a traditionally minded, conservative girl and think where you would like to hang out, what kind of people you would surround yourself with, how you would like to meet a guy, etc.
I noticed that such girls tend to need some sort of connection with a guy to be open toward him. Cold approach may seem very romantic at first, almost like a fate based thing, but at the same time it's still very fast and random in general. For certain type of girls it feels just weird and "not right". For example, my GF told me [almost lectured me haha] that "normal" people meet each other either at school, at work, being introduced by someone or through something they have in common, attending same places and sharing same hobbies like going to the same dance classes or being part of the same traveling group etc.
Figure it out. And be social to people in general cause you have no idea who can introduce you to a girl your type. Don't count on that but you might be surprised how many opportunities you lose by ignoring people you're not interested in.

If I were to cold approach a girl, would you recommend exchanging texts with her for a bit before meeting up? Do these kinds of girls prefer easy things, like day time coffee?

Self-righteous, as in, boasting about the difficulty of their jobs/additional volunteer work, online (Facebook) or in person?
Yeah, thinking they are the hardest workers on the planet and get the corresponding egos to match it. Nurses are constantly pumped up in the media as super hard workers (like the military) and doing a great thing. And while that's true in many instances, some people let that stuff go to their head and can be insufferable to be around.
I'm not discounting what a nurse does but you see this sort of attitude in sub-groups of the military, gov't employees, firefighters, teachers, nurses, PAs and so forth. You can see this kind of attitude anywhere really but any profession that has some altruistic objectives behind it that goes beyond money has a tendency to attract some self-righteous types who once working, start to believe their own bullshit.

That was the issue I found with teachers, that they thought they were doing God's work.

Teachers have been a mixed bag.
Some never mention work or just casually when relevant (and are generally pleasant people) and others go on constantly about "their kids" and every micro-story related to their students like I should give a shit.
Passion is good when teaching obviously but this one slut teacher I knew could not turn off about work. Same chick had a big ego as well to match and was obnoxious to be around after a while since everything had to revolve around her feelings and thoughts; god forbid anything was said that knocked her down a notch back to reality. Super fragile ego held together by being a boss in the classroom and doing a semi-altruistic job.
Nothing new for women in general but the teacher gig certainly attracted her for a reason.

I'd text with her for a bit at first and call her once or twice in the middle of our text exchange.
As for a date anything is better going for a drink in a pub. Alcohol straight away might be off putting. Coffee, shopping [for yourself], ice cream works fine. Or tell her you're going to the best restaurant in the city with delicious food, sell the fuck out of it and then take her to a food truck for some quick snack that you like. It's funny.

The only issue I have with this idea is that a lot of sweet girls/women (by the way at what age do you consider her to be a woman? 21 and up?) tend to be wary of men older than 27, especially if they are inexperienced.
Disagree. It's a great filter. The ones who are confident enough to be around a male who has achieved things are the ones who you want be with. They'll also be the ones who are more understandable in the fact that you need own-time for the business you're running or growing. Mostly women/girls from rich families have this attribute. Its really this or they're spoiled up to their ass. Filter carefully.
Are most girls going to want to play second fiddle to my achievements when I'm that age?
Girl would rather play second fiddle to an accomplished man than be first fiddle to one who puts them on a pedestal.
Also, in the FSU and SEA (not sure about LatAm), you actually need to be at least a certain age for the girls to take you seriously.
It's only in the West, and especially the more liberal parts, where guys have to date girls their age ... or older ...
