Case1: The boyfriend wants only the 2 of you meet up.
I would avoid this. There is nothing for you to gain out of this. He either wants to beat you up or ease his mind, that you are no competition for him.

Case2: The boyfriend wants the 3 of you to meet up. (BF, Girl, You)
I would ask myself, if I really want to get this Girl. In that case, you should meet up with them and Show the Girl, that you are higher value than her BF. Of Course I recommend doing this in subtle ways. Demonstrate your wittyness in the conversation and try to lead at all times. Maybe she will get more attracted to you, since she has a good comparison between you guys. Girl don't have a choice. They will natrually be more attracted to the higher value guy.
This Approach is high risk and high reward. I would ask myself, if the Girl is worth the potential Trouble, since this Approach could backfire at you. When the BF notices your strategy, he will maybe Freak out.

It's definitely high risk. I'm not sure about the high reward. It's not as if the rewards from this girl are going to be any greater than a different but equally hot girl.

There's not a single upside to this strategy compared to meeting other girls. Only negatives. If you think about the likely scenarios that would come from this, almost all of them are varying levels of bad. Even the best case scenario (extremely unlikely) isn't that great.

Unless the OP wants and craves drama/danger there is absolutely no reason to meet the girl's boyfriend.
