Jukebox Opener
If you've got approach anxiety and you want an easy open, the jukebox is always a good way of getting an easy in.

When there's a hottie selecting a song on the jukebox, say something like "oh god no, you're picking THAT song"?

It's great since it starts the conversation off on the right foot, ie, a neg.

That is all.

RE: Jukebox Opener
I've usually tried to stay away from judgment calls/personal inferences upon initial contact, but as long as you're laying out the framework for you two to connect emotionally, what works will work. ("why u don't liek my song mr man!?")

Your jukebox opener also reminds me of one of Solomon II's number closes at a coffee shop:

Quote:I wanted to write this as soon as I could so it would be fresh in my mind. Here’s what happened when I noticed a cute little brunette ordering her coffee. I’d give her a high 7/low 8 and guess her age at about 23 to 25.

ME: Excuse me, I saw you standing there and had to introduce myself. I’m Solomon II, and I just have to tell you that the drink you ordered is by far my least favorite on the menu. Do you hate yourself or something?

HER: Ha! No, I don’t hate myself. It’s my favorite drink. You should try it.

ME: No way, man. I was kind of hoping your taste in men was as bad as your taste in coffee...

...........................skipping ahead, the result.....................

HER: I can’t believe I’m doing this. Give me your phone and I’ll program my number in for you.

ME: No, call me from your phone so we can store each other’s numbers.

HER: You’re too funny. I wasn’t going to give you a fake number. [she sent me a text with her number]

ME: I have to go, but I expect you to call me as soon as you send what’s-his-name
packing. Or even before if you want me to get rid of him for you. I don’t run in to women like you very often, so I need you to come through on this. Promise me.

HER: We’ll see.

ME: Promise me.

HER: Ok, ok! You’re a very bad man [chuckles]. Wow. Ok. I promise.

ME: Excellent. I’ll talk to you soon.

I walked away with my coffee and sat outside. On her way out, she said “Goodbye Solomon II, thanks for making my day. Text whenever you want.”

For all I know, I broke every PUA rule in the book. But what I do know is that I got her number and positioned her boyfriend as a beta. He’s the guy who takes her for granted, while I’m the guy with balls of steel who immediately recognized how unique and special she is.

RE: Jukebox Opener
I think this opener depends a lot on the kind of girl that is at the jukebox. Let's say she is an 8.5 or something, then starting with a kind of neg is a good option.

However, if she is like a 7 a neg is unnecessary and might even scare her away. Instead of opening with this neg, I would say something along the lines of ''I hope you are putting X song/artist/album'' on. Bonus points if you can guess the kind of music she is into judging by her appearance.

RE: Jukebox Opener
@manwiththegolden gun I suppose it depends on your personal style and what flows off the tongue most naturally. Personally I like openers that are simple. The "Hello i saw you standing there, yada yada, that drink is terrible" is too scripted for my tastes. I like to blow past the opener as soon as I can and get on with the rapport building / attracting building. The jukebox is a great way to get her to qualify yourself to you based on her shit taste in music. Of course most women have shit taste in music so it's not as if I'm even lying when I tell them their song selection is shit. Smile

How do you figure that along such rigid lines? All women respond to game. The threshold of a woman's attractiveness has no bearing whatsoever on how she responds to game.

I don't like this because you are basically qualifying yourself to her. It seems like you're scared of using the neg angle for some reason. Don't be. Women want to be poked fun at (in a playful way, not angry or aggressive way). They don't like it when you're 100 percent buying their program. Keep them on their toes, never qualify yourself, and it will pay dividends. As far as "guessing" about her I've found that to be a shitty strategy that never works. It comes off as try hard, but hey if it works for you, go for it.

I can't remember the last time I've seen a jukebox.
