As I'm pondering this situation, I'm reminded of a book I read by Steven Pressfield called "Tides of War". It's about the Peloponnesian War, which was a conflict between ancient Athens and Sparta. The Athenian Commander Alcibiades is known for his hubris and bold ways. The Spartan Lysander is known for his prowess. (http://www.amazon.com/Tides-War-Steven-P...des+of+war)

Before going to battle with Alcibiades, Lysander makes some remarks. I find them applicable:

"Courage is born of obedience. It is the issue of selflessness, brotherhood, and love of freedom. Boldness, on the other hand, is spawned of defiance and disrespect; it is the bastard brat of irreverence and outlawry. Boldness honors two things only: novelty and success.
...
I plant my trust in you, brothers, in our arms and our andreia. But before all I place it in God. Nor is this wishful thinking but objective observation of heaven’s laws, for I perceive these faithworthy as the tides and immutable as the transit of the stars: “Boldness produces hubris. Hubris calls forth nemesis. And nemesis brings boldness low. “We are nemesis, brothers. Called into being by heaven’s outrage at this would-be tyrant’s pride, and at his city’s presumption. We are the Almighty’s right arm, God’s holy agent, and no force between sea and sky may prevail against us.”

The SJWs act with boldness and audacity. Their actions are inspired by nothing more than their emotions. The are the failures of society, who seek the state to protect them from mere ideas because they are afraid to protect themselves. They seek the state to provide for them because they cannot provide for themselves. Their strength comes only from hiding behind a mob. As individuals, they are weak. They are cowards.

We are strong. We are not afraid to hear ideas, and we do not seek protection from them. We do not need the state to provide for us, because we can provide for ourselves. Our strength comes from our individuality, and desire for excellence. We are the doers, the winners, the ones who aren't afraid to accomplish great things. We do not fear andreia, but live by it.

We have the one thing they will always lack - courage.

And therefore, we are nemesis.
