Video Persecution of Neo-Masculinty Public Meetings: Outrage and Response
Disappointed but not surprised.

I had such high hopes for the neomasculinity community launch. Many of the points in the NeoMasculinity Manifesto resonated with me. Perhaps most importantly was that so many were positive constructive values concerning self-mastery, community, brotherhood, mentorship and so on. It was refreshing how it completely ignored much of the negativity and hostility that the movement/s rivals provoke and direct against us though-criminals with the persecution they are able to exert from their positions of power in media, academia, administration and government.

I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to building a new community and contributing to realize some of these constructive visions. We still can. But I'm outraged at the naked lies, exaggerations and mischaracterizations perpetrated against this new movement and Brother Roosh in particular.

What to do with the rage? So many serious media outlets with real revenues published unsubstantiated mischaracterizations. Well if that fraternity at the University of Virginia has a case against Rolling Stone Magazine, then Roosh and his media properties certainly also have a case against the media outlets that have called him a rapist, rape apologist, misogynist, etc. Make them pay. Let the courts use the full force of the law on our behalf.

There are a lot of clever fellas around here, perhaps some media lawyers among us? Reason probably can't change the convictions of these SJWs. But there are probably some fair minded judges out there who will see the reckless exaggerations for what they are and punish them for their hasty ill-considered editorial decisions. Especially in the UK and perhaps elsewhere in the Commonwealth the courts consider plaintiffs in libel cases more generously.

Furthermore I won't criticize the public relations of these endeavors; I certainly don't believe I could have done better. However perhaps the "any publicity is good publicity" stance is too simplistic. Do we have any public relations experts among us who could help the cause?

Finally I wonder if the public presence of the "neo-masculine" tribes is the best approach. Our fathers and grandfathers had the Freemasons, the Elks, the Optimists, the Knights of Columbus and so on. These secret brotherhoods may indeed dying out for some reason. Bowling alone syndrome and post-modern (sub)urban anomie perhaps? But maybe this new movement of ours can provide some substance, meaning and community that men of many ages are missing in our modern society.

Obviously because our era is hostile to any kind of GENUINELY free association and in the spirit of "transparency" and "non-discrimination" organizations have a very hard time excluding disruptive elements. (For you dunces out there discrimination isn't just for distinguishing irrelevant characteristics like race and other modern bugaboos but also for distinguishing characters who are honest, reliable, agreeable and open to cooperation.)

Perhaps we can let the neo-masculine initiative grow more patiently, quietly and discreetly. In my view it has great potential to make and do some great things. But we could still find satisfaction in achieving the same great things even if we don't get the opportunity to bask in public recognition for their realization. Perhaps it's enough to make things happen even if we don't take credit for it?

The current branding is probably too tainted to succeed in public. The early Christian Church managed to thrive and grow underground in its early years. The Freemasons also managed to leave a mark in spite of the shroud of mystery and secrecy. We too could accomplish a lot in secret. Indeed the persecution might help forge our unity and identity in a similar way.

I believe that's the plan champ. We didn't start this shit storm. But we are going to finish it. Safely & righteously.

This is where you are wrong. There is no branding. Just a philosophy. Take from it what you will. If you appreciate it, appreciate it for what you do. Take from it what you will. There is no spin.

Just truth.

It's not a marketing problem.
