Broughshane man Hayes is nearing the end of a minimum 17-year sentence for murdering 21-year-old Ballymena woman Julie Tennant in August 2000.

The murder shocked Northern Ireland, with the judge saying Hayes had subjected Julie to "pitiless humiliation" and shown no remorse. Hayes lured Julie back to his Ballymena home and punched her repeatedly in the face.

As she lay moaning in agony, he super-glued her lips together, later telling police he did so because "the noise was doing my head in".

After Ms Tennant suffocated, he hid her body in the garden shed before burying her in a shallow grave and fleeing to England.

He's been in prison 17 years. Sure, it's not smart advice to go looking in prisons for husbands, but there is a chance he has repented for his sins and become a christian. According to the article he has. Forgiveness and repentance is core to Christianity. I think you guys are being a little harsh on her here.

Reason #34939802 as to why in saner times, a male patriarch had a say in who a female relative was to be paired up with. Simply put, when given the opportunity, too many women do not know how to chose a decent mate. Also, at 39 years old, why hasn't she been paired up before and stayed married?

Women are attracted to men who are either feared or revered, it's biologically innate. Just like men are attracted to women who are fertile and feminine (aka good looking)

This is the crux of the problem. They *are* exempt of the blame when they get hurt.

Instead of taking responsibility for their own dating choices, they psychologically project the blame onto men.

Then they have sons of their own and raise them to be the antithesis of everything women find attractive in a man as a way to reaffirm to themselves that the reason they got hurt was because men weren't taught to treat women right.

And then we end up a generation of "Brony, SWJ, male feminist" type men because a generation of women needed to absolve themselves of blame for the wreckage they wrought in their own dating lives.

I get that you can't help who you are attracted to. But don't lie down with dogs and then complain about the fleas.

"I cheated on my beta provider husband" - It's men's fault for not knowing how to keep attraction alive or "what women want"

Someone knowledgeable about this issue should break down the christian denominations in the US and produce metrics based on how closely their values resemble what is written in this forum.

There are a lot of Christians more "red pill" than atheists threads in this forum, even though i hate using the term "red pill" since one of the people that came up with it decided to chop his dick off and wear a dress. The problem here is not all Christians are the same. We all know about this new pope and what he is doing, we also know about the evangelical problem how costly they are to american foreign policy among other things. I am not an expert on the issue, but someone who is should really start a thread and break this down.
