I'm noticing a lot of you guys dress up all fancy GQ and shit, but what about when you want to dress a little normal. I'm not rocking a suit at the mall. Just not doing it.

This is more or less my style.

Any recommendations on how to rock this style? I notice the ladies love it.

B. Long sleeved black shirt or a v-neck.

C. Watch and necklace of some sort.

D. Fitted black or white jeans/chinos.

E. Big ass headphones around your neck.

F. The SnapBack better not have an "Obey" on it.

Also do you really have to have fitted chinos? I normally use straight Levis, or more baggy, kind of like Jay Z up in that picture above.

I don't think that's necessarily the case. Any race can rock it. I'm not white, but I think White guys look good in this type of style.

It's a pathetic mark of a culture when looking more 'gangster' boosts your status. Gang life is basically a few steps up from going back to the caves and hitting each other with mammoth bones.

For every pro there is a con.

The suit-it-up crowd are with tremendous merit.
But what about if it's 30'C & above?
Too much of it & you look try hard.

Same as, let me call it urban casual wear.
Too much & you'll look clownish.
Nobody should "go full gangsta".

But let me tell you this, get you swag right brother & it'll be similar to Game being set at beginner difficultly.
Girls will tug at your throwback, grab your chain, ask for selfies, call you a heartbreaker, expect you to aloof & sexually forward etc.
It's a players dream.
& if you wanna be the part, you gotta look it.

Snapbacks - solid bold colours, fitted caps are still a winner.

Shirts - V-neck, normal T (tight or loose) & throwbacks are money, keep it simple & mature, avoid 'novel T's" (stuff with Bart Simpson or something ridiculous like that)

Pants - blue or black jeans, fitted is cool, but I like room to sag my pants

Kicks - Jordans, Tims or any other fashionable hi-top sneaker.

Accessories - A masculine watch is a must, I go for beaded chains, & most important black tinted generic Ray Ban shades (think Lil Wayne)

No you look like any dude who demolishes pussy ever.

Urban casual wear is not to be scoffed at.

Outside a high end club, this has been my style for the better part of a decade. I'm 28 now. In terms of the look, where I'm from, surf culture and hip hop stylings have melted together somewhat.

Accentuating the look follows the exact same guidelines of any type of fashion. Pick the clothing within this style that fits. You will always rock a poor print better than you will a poor fit.

My most important tip would be to never ever wear a one size fits all snap back. They look awful, they block off half your face and essentially detract from your appearance. When wearing a snap back always go for something like this:



It's that whole rule of thirds principle. With the one size fits all, it covers your whole forehead and messes up the dynamics of your face. I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous but I promise, if you're going to wear a cap, wear one like the above, and wear it backwards…

…The other factor to consider is that it also highlights that you have hair. Now don't get me twisted, being bald or balding isn't going to stop anyone picking up, but when you wear a cap while balding it stinks of insecurity.

It obviously works to some degree, because if you go to any semi-urban mall, you see hot girls with these guys. Its the bad guy image and attitude they like. Granted, I really would never wear stuff like this, but I do rock some street wear at times. Air Jordans, retro hip-hop shirts, sometimes wear "jogger" pants.

I once bought a hat like that when I was 14 but I think I never dared to wear it outside though.
