I'd like to see a comic illustrating the cognitive dissonance of feminists ("male" or otherwise) displayed when they say things like "You guys are just archaic! And you're mad that the majority of people are leaving your patriarchal values in the dust, where they belong!"

and then go on to say


"Male/white privilege is real! Patriarchy exists! Old boys club! Racism!" ect.

There's a kind of Ralph Steadman style going on in this thread

Digital art has its merits, though. For example, Red Panels copy-pastes and alters to create a sharper contrast, or to show similarity.

The simpler colours and textures are also easier for the eye to process.
I'm thinking of the Facebook crowd - make it easy for them to take it in, and easier for a chain of shares to start.
I wouldn't hang these on my wall, but they have immediate impact:

I agree with you in your aception about how digital art is direct and functional to the eye and the information based community that we live in nowadays.
I have often struggled with digital art and I could never quite fully adapt or grasp to either the use of tablets or a complete work in photoshop/adobe brushes (a clear example of this lack of ability in this field can be seen in the rapefugee toon).

By that I do not mean to disqualify or disrespect it in any way, but I continue to harbour a preference for manual imperfection.
Business wise it does affect perhaps its capacity to be immediately shareable in online platforms,but I think I d rather sacrifice it for what I hope is a fuller distillation of my work.

But oh well,pencils will always be my love.

Heheheh, well,being born in the late 80's,I did get exposed to rather unhealtily large doses of 90's toons,underground comics (Think HEAVY METAL,american browsers) and Mad magazines

I've kept this page on my backpack for nearly a year,was cleaning my stuff today and found it,had to modify the lettering as the original is quite hard to read.
