Before I knew what a low-fade was, or what a taper was, all my haircuts looked like that. I never cared to know how to ask for a better cut until I was like 18. Of course I used to get bowl cuts as well...

that's like a 1.5 on the sides then near the top has its own length, instead of trying to blend the top with the sides.

This haircut is used EVERY-FUCKING-WHERE.

Many say it's a bloody hipster-fag cut but there's ups to it. They give the impression your head is slimmer and taller, making you look taller; one of the most important traits women look for. And the military short trim gives a more masculine look. WIN-WIN in my opinion.

Just avoid a beard so you don't look like a Hipster (who can't create his own style).

I can't use the undercut since I'm bald!

I don't want to change the course of this thread...but there are quite a few Asian guys who sport a similar look also known as the "Pompadour." As an Asian guy myself, I will chime in on this.

1) Do not get this hairstyle if you're a pale Asian.
2) Do not get this hairstyle if you have smaller eyes
(As a guy with smaller eyes myself, this hairstyle makes certain Asians look Fobbier & negatively impacts the complexion of one's face in the goofiest of manners)
3) This hairstyle however can appear more alpha for Asian guys of a darker complexion from SE Asian or Pacific Islands.

If you want to play it safe & look classier (my preference), even that shit out as Tigermandigo mentioned.

These haircuts are not "Nazi" haircuts.

A lot of these haircuts are classic men hairstyles.

If you go to a traditional barber, ask him for a manly, traditional cut and he will give a similar haircut as pictured, just not as extreme as some examples above, more like a Don Draper haircut from the 60ties.

For being on the save side, go more traditional, instead of more hipster.
