I wanted to start a new thread discussing Roosh's post from last week.

The Big Lie

The idea that all of us are equal is a modern PC invention.

However, in diverse societies PC (political correctness) might be necessary to maintain order.

For years, people have been lied to about sex differences, race differences, immigration, and homosexual behavior.

Pattern recognition is considered a mortal sin in polite society.

In 2016, I think people will start voicing their opinions on simple observations that can lead to uncomfortable truths.

This will lead to a more honest discussions on race, sex, and culture. With the Trumpening the Overton window has permanently shifted.

What do you think will happen once this big lie starts getting more exposed?

I hate political correctness and that's one of the reasons I really like Trump. His plain speak could be a game changer in the culture.

Cultures have world-views.
Sometime it is based on "wishful thinking" or just "power dynamics".

Imagine you live in a cast society (classes). If you are the ruler, you want to believe that the classes are made by "God", because otherwise "why is society like that?".
So you spread the word. And people believe it (or you force them). And within a generation or two, almost everyone have that world-view. Example - India.

I think that today we are witnessing the same basic phenomenon. However, unlike the past (you barely survived and had other things to worry about), today information flows (like this forum) and people have more than survival to think of.
So the elite use their powers (media, law and so on) to facilitate the worl-view. Unlike the past, it is now changing much faster. So the lie is noticeable (again - not to anyone).

With regards to PC - cultures have always defined their "boundaries". Compare it with heresy, or even with challenging the "normative" world-view in any society.

The way I see it, it will take time.
