I've heard through the grape vine that private English tutoring is a very lucrative and well-paying market in HK. Tales of guys making a pretty penny off it--and if not that-- a decent living at the very least.

I've also heard it's not hard to find a decent-paying teaching job there without qualifications if you're in country and have connections, or are in the know with locals.

It seems far-fetched to me, but can anyone confirm this? I'd be interested in relocating there at some point.
