RE: Another depression thread
Something to think about to anyone whose ever thought of ending it:

Quote:Most survivors (30+) have said afterward that they wanted to live as soon as they went over the side. In the words of one man, ‘I realized that everything in my life that I thought was unfixable was totally fixable, except for having just jumped.’

Looking at a biological aspect check to see if you have other symptoms of hypothyroidism. Its incredible how one hormone (T3) has such drastic effects on motivation, heart rate, metabolism, etc. They've done numerous studies, really T3 blows away pretty much all antidepressants. Big Pharma is only out to make money not drastically improve outcomes with antidepressants. I think there was a study that 70% of people who had tried like an average of 6 different antidepressants, saw drastic improvements on T3 alone. Desiccated Thyroid(dried ground measured pig thyroid) is probably one of the best ways to go if you do try it, it is bioequivalent where synthetic T3 is not the same as your body produces. Thyroid hormones are ancient. Pick up some brown seaweed on the beach, it has some T2 like molecules. Pick up a starfish or a sea urchin, and they have the same T4 running around in your body.

RE: Another depression thread
I've been in your shoes in and out and I've been meaning to write a detailed "depression datasheet" with all the details related but have been busy (read: lazy). For the moment do any of the following:

travel
do cardio exercise regularly
socialize with successful and motivated people

If you can't do any of the above and constantly think you'd better be dead then an antidepressant can be helpful.

Grab your life by the pussy.
A better question to ask is "What EXACTLY do I want out of life and what EXACTLY am I doing to get EXACTLY that? If you can answer that question truthfully you will be the most Alpha motherfucker you will ever need to be. (PapayaTapper)

Find the source of ur depression and solve it. plus exercise and do some meditation / qigong. That will give you energy and clear your mind.
