This is one of those stories I like to think of someone saying, "The earth revolves around the sun" and getting chastised for it.

Parents who had daughters at the school strongly disagreed with the teacher's comments.

After bemoaning how girls were "cramming their heads full of facts", she wrote: "It's time we backed off and gave today's girls the time and space to work out what they actually want.

"Happiness and success don't turn on A*s and a place at Oxford."

One mother, who preferred to remain anonymous, told the Daily Mail: "I don't worry about my daughter having too much pressure in a school situation. My girl loves being in that environment."

Another parent branded the teacher's views "old-fashioned"

Again, red-pill or not, the average person on the internet is beginning to side with the "truth". By looking at the comments, it's clear a tide is turning.

Girls grow up into much happier women when their mothers regard them as an end in and of themselves, not a means to an end.

One of the primary problems with girls in modern society is that their mothers simply want to be better parents, not to raise better kids. Do you think this incredible push to "educate" girls is because mothers want a better life for their daughters or because they want to say their wickedly ambitious daughter went to Oxford? Oh, what's that? That's the sound of my daughter cracking the glass ceiling!!!

Do you think this an honest assessment of her daughter's personality or the sort of daughter this woman wants to raise? Notice that this is an anonymous mother's comment -- why would anybody feel this statement needs to be said off the record? I'm fairly confident this woman doesn't care about her daughter simply because she is her daughter, but primarily because this girl is a tabula rusa -- her daughter can become the woman she never did. Happiness really must be The Right Degree (education) + The Right Job (money) + The Right Man (prop)

Guys keep saying that, but that doesn't make it true.

Internet comment sections are dominated by chan, 'sphere, and Misc trolls. God bless them one and all, but their dominance on comment sections does not mean that "the tide is turning" or anything close to it.

The "average person on the internet" does not bother commenting on articles of this kind, they're too busy reading about Kim and Kanye, or Tom Brady, as the case may be. If and when the tide really starts turning, we'll know it by signs other than how many 'sphere trolls were able to run roughshod over a given comment section. So far, such signs are few and far between.
