I like stories like this.

A young, 21 year old mother at home with her new baby shoots home intruders using her national guard training. She takes two bullets herself but still comes out on top.

For all of the 'there are no good women' types out there, let me put this one among the saints. Why?

1. Not fat
2. Long hair
3. medic/nurse
4. married young
5. home with children
6. willing to put herself at risk for family and home
7. not totally helpless
8. a solid 6/6.5 in looks

Oh yes, and this was in NC, further substantiating my theory that the 'south' is where to find these women.

Don't mess with those southern girls.

^This is also not the first guy I've seen from the south who is more "beta" and lower on the scale than his wife.

Not sure what's up with that.

They are conservative to the core in a lot of instances but will give you a chance no matter who yoy are once you're around them quite a bit and prove any stereotypes wrong.

I love teaching girls to shoot. It's a great date option. Easy access to firearms is one of the reasons to stay stateside instead of seek greener pastures where it's illegal to defend yourself.

Somebody get her boy to the gym and range so he can become a man.

The true victims here are the alleged home "invaders," victims of stereotyping and violence.

Why didn't she just use pepper spray? Or just brandish the gun? Or just try to talk to her temporary visitors?

Why assume the worst when these gentlemen might had just been asking for directions along the way to the local Number Theory conference?

Its funny how some young black punk welding a knife dangerously in the street getting shot by a white cop makes every headline and a mother with her infant having a shoot out with some piece of shit doesn't. Race bait aside,

That's the type of girl to marry, or at least knock up.

She knows her role, no entitled snob enlists in the military. She has medical training, knows how to use firearms, and is in the middle quantile of looks so while still being attractive, you won't have to worry about defending your piece from every new player that comes around.

My tip to rvf: if you're gonna marry, don't marry the hottest girl you've ever banged. Marry a girl like this

My wife is a stay at home mom to our [redacted] old, and the news about the pastor's stay at home wife murdered in Indiana, along with some local crime has gotten her fearful. Although I carry almost 24/7 and she feels safe with me at home, when I'm at work during the day or away on the weekends anxieties increase. Being alone really amplifies this fear for her.

A few weeks ago, she asked me to buy her a gun that she could use to protect her and the baby at home and while out running errands.

I've got her a Springfield XDm 3.8 9mm for Christmas and the local range offers a "date night" once a month for couples which includes range time and dinner for two at the attached restaurant. We just need to find a baby sitter.
