I'm asking You God, to give me what You have left.
Give me those things which others never ask of You.
I don't ask You for rest, or tranquility.
Not that of the spirit, the body, or the mind.
I don't ask You for wealth, or success, or even health.
All those things are asked of You so much Lord,
that you can't have any left to give.
Give me instead Lord what You have left.
Give me what others don't want.
I want uncertainty and doubt.
I want torment and battle.
And I ask that You give them to me now and forever Lord,
so I can be sure to always have them,
because I won't always have the strength to ask again.
But give me also the courage, the energy,
and the spirit to face them.
I ask You these things Lord,
because I can't ask them of myself.

Amen.

Jesus Christ just said Amen to a prayer on the forum....

On bitches, I'm generally a fan of Tupac's advice to "break her ass and shake her ass."

And when I'm stressed out for something like a test or a fight, this Hemingway quote calms me down: "Courage is grace under pressure."

And my dad always tells me, "When you hesitate, people die." I'm pretty sure he got that from the movie Doom.

"Slow is smooth, Smooth is fast" I hear it's a saying from Navy SEALS but don't quote me on that.
Anyway I really like this when trying to learn something new whether it's a real world skill or game or whatever. Don't worry about those guys going balls out from the very beginning go slow and smooth then when you so need to do it quick you got it.

RE: I need your personal mantras
I don't really have a mantra. I just remember that when I was a kid I used to take a lot of inspiration from the old Naruto cartoons and made it my mentality to never quit once I'm after something.....and to be able to jump back up from any setback even harder.

Which I've done to an amazing degree, multiple times.

All of the military uses it.

Next. (Useful when a girl flakes on me)
Relax. (When I feel nervous, angsty, angry or pissed off).

Om Namah Shivaya

Traditionally, it is accepted to be a powerful healing mantra beneficial for all physical and mental ailments. Soulful recitation of this mantra brings peace to the heart and joy to the [Ātman] or Soul. Sages consider that the recitation of these syllables is sound therapy for the body and nectar for the soul [Ātman]. The nature of the mantra is the calling upon the higher self; it is the calling upon shiva, the destroyer deity, to aid in the death (destruction of ego) and rebirth achieved during meditation.

The mantras I hold in life:

-Take everything. Give nothing back. The world is yours. Stand strong a King among men.

-"Eritis sicut Deus, scientes bonum et malum"(You will be like God, knowing good and evil.)- Mephistopheles, Goethe's Faust

-"Fame" is not meritorious. It's often an accident of fate, and probably more often than not undeserved, all things considered. For every person who worked their ass off to achieve high proficiency in their chosen field, there's probably at least one more who achieved notoriety through some form of "dumb" luck.

"I must in the face of a storm think, live, and die as a king."-Frederick the Great

-"Cui Bono"(To whose profit)

"Until the day when God shall deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words,— 'Wait and hope'."- Alexander Dumas, "The Count of Monte Cristo"
