I can't prove it, but I truly think any president, no matter how idealistic he is, is given "the talk" within the first week by some very powerful people. I don't think the buck stops at the president. I think there are powerful agencies he has to satiate, and if he doesn't, he'll get the JFK treatment. These agencies may be some combination of the Israeli lobby, the military-industrial complex, big Oil, the global banks, trade lobbyists, and big pharma. Someone like Ron Paul would never be elected, and if he did, he'd either quickly moderate his policies or something would "happen" to him. The difficult job of a president is to navigate between his true values and those with the true power and money calling the shots behind the scenes.

That's absurd. It happens LONG before they get into office. You can't get into office unless you've been playing ball with the people with the juice for a long time.
Is there even a need for a talk? I am pretty sure politicians at that level are aware of the power structures of this world, it would surprise me if they weren't.

Here he is (at 1:35-1:50) outraged that Obama refused to directly arm ISIS:

This is not to even mention that funding by defense companies and trigger-happy behavior around Russia and China digging for WW3 form the core of his political career.

These insane ideas would be at least somewhat understandable coming from a neocon blowhard who has never had anything to do with the military - but when pushed by a man who personally knows the death and ugliness of war they become even more hypocritical.

He is absolutely shameless and deserves no respect.

John McCain's father was a top Navy admiral, he was a key figure in the coverup of the USS Liberty false flag attack. He sold out the crew of the Liberty, who were shot up, napalmed and torpedoed by Israel in 1967. John McCain learned to cuck for Israel from his dad.

President Obama just spoke at a woman's conference and shared these words

Quote:"We need to change the attitude that punishes women for their sexuality, but gives men a pat on the back for theirs.”
-President Obama

"We’re going to have to change the way we see ourselves. This is happening already, but we need to be more intentional about it."
-President Obama

Not only does he want you to change the way you see women's sexual choices, he wants you to pay for them.

Un-fucking-believable! How is it the president's job to dictate our country's attitude on sexual promiscuity? I'm so tired of this administration shoving its bullshit down everyone's throat. He needs to go back to Kenya or wherever the fuck he's actually from.

What does he mean by being "more intentional about it"? More propaganda? Funding "education"? In the speech, he mentioned this was an issue that starts when a girl is born. This is some radical bullshit, he has his eye on every kid in America.

Aside from killing Bin Laden, he hasn't done shit good for the country. And it isn't as if a different president wouldn't have got Bin Laden just the same. It isn't like he was out there tracking him down himself.

Ok Nomad point by point.
1. Race Relations.....it has been a joke ever since the 80s in the US. I am sure you remember high school or a college campus.
2. Refugees.....see what Reagan did in the 80s or since the 60s in the US with Cubans.
3, TPP vs. NAFTA?
4, ISIS exists because there was no greater recruitment tool ever for Muslim "warriors" than invading Iraq.
5. 2nd amendment. It has been a joke in the US for several decades.
6. There could have been another Great Depression, as much as people forget 2008.
7. Iran deal. It is a harsh region. You either go to war and bomb, or try some semblance of diplomacy.
8. Details about specific captive negotiations I agree, should have been dealt with better.

1. Regardless, Obama blatantly made them worse with his contributions to the race narrative re: Trayvon, etc. It's not like Obama could have solved everything. The problems are deep, complex, and some are intractable, but he could have at least done his part when he had the chance. Instead he came down squarely on the side of encouraging black resentment and animosity to whites and the government.

I work in government. The public has absolutely no idea what is going on in all the federal agencies right now. In fact, the public does not really understand what liberalism is, at least in practice, as opposed to the platitudes they spout to the public.

I will not vote for Trump; I will vote against liberalism. Liberalism is a lie that, when in power, calls the truth a lie and a lie the truth. It rewards the perpetrator and punishes the victim.

RE: Is Obama that bad?
I'm proud to say I never voted for Barack Obama. In 2008, all the hype surrounding him was just ridiculous. In retrospect, it seems the public was more interested in the novelty of his complexion than his political experience or policies.

Would John McCain have made a great president? Maybe not. But it's hard to imagine anyone doing worse than what Obama's done. Hell, I think even Sarah Palin could've done a better job running the country than what ol' Barry's done in the past eight years, as sad as that is to say.

It's so unbelievably frustrating that there are people still willing to defend Obama's presidency at this point. It's been a fucking disaster -- and I don't think it's due to incompetence, either. No one could be THAT stupid. It's clear Obama has an agenda -- and protecting the American people clearly doesn't rank high on his list of priorities.

Essentially, he's become a glorified publicist for the Islamic State. He defends and excuses all their bullshit while blaming their acts on everyone else. It sort of reminds me of how a celebrity's PR people try and spin their stupidity into something more publicly palatable. (e.g. Celebrities are never admitted into the hospital for drug overdoses, they're merely being treated for "exhaustion".)

At this point, it seems fairly certain there will be other attacks on American soil before November and Muslims will likely be responsible for them. I hate seeing innocents hurt or killed, but if there's a silver lining to this very dark cloud, it's that such attacks are VERY likely to result in Trump getting elected in a landslide victory over Crooked Hillary.

RE: Is Obama that bad?
Barack Obama and his crew fucked up Christmas on Oahu for seven straight years.

This last one, he went to a restaurant right near the biggest shopping mall at 5 pm on Christmas Eve. He hung around till midnight. That meant that all the people that wanted last minute presents couldn't get them because all of the streets were clogged with traffic and some were just closed. All of the workers at the mall were stuck there.

I sat in Obama traffic the year before, and was late to my grandmas. Now she's in a nursing home.

The first few years the novelty of the winter white house was cool. These last few years its just a pain in the ass.

With three major bases on this island, there are hundreds of military helicopters he could use, but he's gotta ride around with 75 other cars. Its like a damn parade everywhere.

I don't know if it has to do with all of the other problems he caused, or if its traffic alone, but people in hawaiihate him.

For a few years people were mad because the Obama presidential library isn't gonna be here, but now people are fine with it as long as he stays away and doesn't add to the traffic problem.

Aloha!

RE: Is Obama that bad?
I voted for him in '08 because McCain was a little too itchy to start a war with Iran, plus Palin shows how poor his judgement is. I voted for him again in '12 because I watched too much Big Love.

With that said, Obama has been a disappointment. I knew that right away when one of his earliest statements was that he was going to give a free pass to Wall St. bankers. Although Obamacare forced my employer to give me healthcare, the plan itself has been a failure. It's a tax levied on everyone for the benefit of private corporations.

His second term has seen more disappointments, mainly in his personal behavior. Two years ago, the cracks really started showing when he and Kerry both had meltdowns over the fact that the US did not want US soldiers committed to Syria. Having a meltdown in public because you don't get your way is weakness. His crying episode. WEAKNESS. His antics yesterday, another public meltdown: WEAKNESS, WEAKNESS, WEAKNESS.

In my lifetime, I've never seen a president act with as little dignity in his final months as this one.

Obama bit off more than he could chew. But don't blame him. There are a lot of people with opinions, behaviours or actions that you will disagree with.

Blame the American people for electing him. He's just a reflection of what is taking place on a grand scale in society and is evidence of the political system to fail to deliver viable candidates that would offer America a better future.

Personally, the I don't see the hero worship surrounding Obama in '08 as much different than with those who support Trump. Actual platforms, campaign promises and policies aside, there's no telling what will actually happen once a candidate is elected. The system is broken and it isn't clear that simply electing one (potentially dishonest) man will fix that.

TL;DR: Obama is a symptom, not the real problem.

I voted for him in '08. At the time, he seemed like the only one to end all the bullshit in sandbox, versus Mccain seemed to want to setup resorts all over those countries.

I didn't vote at all in '12, was fed up with empty speakers.

It's hard to place too much blame in American people. The typical American is inconsequential in the big picture. The average person is just that, average. They take a lot of life at face value. Even so, the political system has become so corrupted, that it's almost never about which candidate you support with enthusiasm. It's about which end of the shit sandwich you'd like to take a bite of first.

RE: Is Obama that bad?
Reading Obama's book "Audacity of Hope" pretty much forewarns us about what a truly awful president he would be. But I think even people who were aware of him prior to 2008 and knew he was off kilt, had no idea he would stick to his twisted beliefs this hard core.

I wasn't overly upset when he won in 2008, because I wasn't all that impressed with non-stop war mongering McCain, and I figured he would get to DC and be told that you can't be so divisive and anti-capitalist and be successful and he would come off of it. But he surrounded himself with yes men, who agreed with him lock step, and he just pushed ahead full steam.

After the 2010 midterm election, I figured Obama was done for. At least his nonsense would be stopped in the House at a minimum. But then he managed to win in 2012 by playing the voter identity card and I was in shock. I remember going to the gym early the next morning and the young inexperienced guy there was so excited and said "Hey Obama won!". I could barely manage "oh, I saw that". I felt like someone close to me had passed away. It wasn't that we had another 4 years of this guy, it was that the country was this full of people who seem to hate the ideas and concepts the country was founded upon. And there is no where else on earth to move to live a free life.

So here we are, 6 months left of this guy. And if his goal was to make the USA a better place, he failed completely. But I do not believe that was ever his goal. His goal was to push the USA closer to a socialist state, and in those regards he has been VERY successful. The problem for him is that people are slowly, maybe too slowly, waking up to the evils of a socialist state. And it is pissing him off, because he is out of time and people are starting to reject it. His tirade towards Trump this week was a great sign of this.

This truly is our last chance to turn the ship around and prevent the USA from ending up more like Brazil. When looking at the national debt, the out of work numbers of people, the constant attempts to get guns out of our hands, and the promise to expand govt. healthcare, if we don't stop it now, it will probably be too late by 2020. And I don't even know if Trump could do any of that.

Lets look at Alinsky's "How To Create a Socialist State"...

1) Healthcare control - Obamacare, which is a disaster and the full price tag still has not been felt.
2) Increase poverty - Welfare has more than doubled under Obama, the number of people living below the poverty line has more than doubled under Obama, and the out of work numbers continue to sky rocket under him.
3) Increate Debt - both personal debt and federal debt are at all time highs. Obama was right in 2008, Bush's spending was disgraceful. But Obama's spending in 7 years makes Bush look like a cheapskate.
4) Gun Control - Muslim extremist attacks Americans with a gun, and Obama's response is to start to remove guns, and it isn't the first time.
5) Welfare - Doubled the number of people on welfare.
6) Education - Was already a liberal bastion before Obama, but continues to get worse with no stopping it.
7 ) Removal of Religion - This one Obama has not pushed.
8) Class Warfare - Obama is the king of class warfare. About the only time you see Obama get passionate is if he is attacking conservatives or he is drumming up class warfare "you didn't build that".

Obama, IMO, has been VERY successful in his goals of changing the USA into another poverty stricken socialist state.

Michelle Obama To Men: Be Better

Quote:“Be better at everything,” she continued. “Be better fathers. Good lord, just being good fathers who love your daughters and are providing a solid example of what it means to be a good man in the world, showing them what it feels like to be loved. That is the greatest gift that the men in my life gave to me.”

No problem BITCH. I work every single day of my life to be a better man.

Too bad you can't be a better woman, not without some drastic plastic surgery and possibly even some next-level DNA restructuring to get rid of that hulking, masculine body.

Hard to blame her for striking out at men though; imagine how bad a lay Obama must be? I bet he's the type to keep his pants on and just do it through the fly of his pajamas, while asking every 2 minutes "is this ok? are you ok?"

Seriously though guys, just more evidence hating men has become mainstream. Imagine if Trump gave a speech on how women need to be better mothers, to stop sleeping around and take care of their bodies? The media would need to find a slur worse than "Hitler" to contain their outrage.

Seriously though guys, just more evidence hating men has become mainstream. Imagine if Trump gave a speech on how women need to be better mothers, to stop sleeping around and take care of their bodies? The media would need to find a slur worse than "Hitler" to contain their outrage.

Michelle strives to be a better man every day.

RE: Is Obama that bad?
Anyone interested in just how messed up Obama's background is, I suggest you read America's Half Blood Prince by Steve Sailer.

Here is a brief overview of the book.

Obama's mom got pregnant when she was 17, Obama Sr. abandoned her and Barry.

She was essentially an alpha widow, never getting over this man. She fed little Obama ideas about what a great man his father was, and how evil and racist America is.

The book is entertaining and informative, well worth checking out.
