In my opinion, Africa is less about culture shock and more about coping with idiotic situations such as bent cops asking for bribes, girls trying to steal your money in the hotel, tough security in front of shops, bars and restaurants (especially Uganda), malaria and so on. Most shops are run by westerners or Indians because the locals are incompetent in almost everything they do.
Uganda is probably the worst country I've ever seen. Anyone who thinks Jakarta or Manila are shitholes would come to live in Kampala. There are way better countries on that continent, but ugandans are friendly and the girls aren't difficult, provided you game them right.
I would go to DR and Haiti.

African girls are going to be easier if you are white which automatically classes you as non local. Akwesi is white so he is slaying left right and centre. Anabasis is African so he has to work for the lizards. The take is always different depending on what you look like. Since you said you are 'whitish looking', it should be as easy or almost as easy as Akwesi.

That was my impression in Ghana - being a black foreigner almost up there with being white. Anabasis, can you say a little more about your experience? Is it just that Ethiopia and Eritrea are more difficult than other (Christian) parts of Africa?

Ethiopia and Eritrea are predominantly Christian. Orthodox Christian to be exact since 362 A.D! Since it's deeply embedded within the culture unlike other Christian parts of Africa, i think it might slightly harder to run game in these countries.

My experience with African girls was mainly in college here in the US. While the Nigerian and Ghanaian dudes i knew were going bananas trying to slay pussy left and right, the women were always reserved.

They were fun, not nerdy or anything. But they never slept around ... atleast not like American girls did. They tend to focus their attention on school and are more interested in having a long term boyfriend. Very family oriented too.

Ok, I get you now. I think Africans girls who have actually made it to be students in the West would be another ball game all together. The views or values you mention are the same as those expressed by African girls in general, but in the actual African context they are not able to live that life of only giving it up to a long-term committed kind of guy. So in Africa it all comes off as hypocrisy, but with enough of a safety net I guess it can be the real deal.

I know I'm a spoiled brat. As a white guy in Africa you can get those 1-3 notch girls on the first or second date just because it's too big of an opportunity for them to pass up. But I think if you are a put together black guy from abroad you can do the same thing.

Ethiopians do not consider themselves black. Their girls are some of the most beautiful in the world. Total class. Feminine, stylish. They are generally very clannish, but you can find some who are into non-Ethiopeans.
