My first thought as well. Like saying hi to a girl...

She's attracted to you..."Hi"...what a cute guy

That said, even as guys we know this uber driver was being creepy. We see creepy for creepy and suave as suave...we just don't see the subtle stuff chics do because we aren't as good at it (they're better) and we aren't as emotional (they're worse).
