Yeah, it blows my mind to not be kissing a girl. One of the hottest things is a girl who is a good kisser. I also feel that I can turn a girl on just by kissing her so it's naturally part of escalation for me.

This went on back in the '90s too. I experienced it with two women a few years before I was married.

Kissing is integral to the erotic experience. Lack of it meant the sex was only so-so because the motor wasn't revved up properly, so to speak.

I don't think the women understood they were lousy lays because of this. Those hours-long blueball-inducing makeout/petting sessions in high school were far sexier...and they didn't necessarily even lead to sex.

On top of that, kissing builds intimacy. With no kissing, I had little emotional attachment.There was also some lack of "realness" and authenticity there. And I took it personally to a degree -- it felt like a weird sort of rejection.

Then both women wondered why I didn't see them again and was lazy about returning their calls. Gee, wonder why.

This is so true. Memories. You never forget highschool girlfriends who made your balls bluer than Neptune...

The absolute, absolute worst is when there seems to be so much buildup that it's impossible to gain the "critical mass" to get it all out. Sort of like a heavily exothermic chemical reaction... but with an extremely high activation energy to get it going. Description might sound slightly autistic but it's the only way I can describe it.
