That's exactly how it works. I used to date a girl that did pageants (although not at this level), so saw how some of it works. She was constantly having to promote herself and out trying to get support. A lot of these girls are only there because they worked harder or were more connected than other girls. There were definitely some girls in those pageants who should not have been there based on their looks.

Albania and Lebanon actually have beautiful faces. (8+)

There are a lot of 7 level faces which is bad for a beauty contest. I shouldn't be able to to walk down the street or go out a night or two and see a handful of girls that could out compete an entire nation.
