MOHALI (PUNJAB): The Punjab police have started a probe into the charges levelled by two British black cheerleaders that they were prevented from performing at an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here last month owing to the colour of their skin.

The police have begun its investigations on the basis of an e-mail complaint of the manager of the two cheerleaders, Jorge Aldana. Officials of Wizcraft, the firm that hired the cheerleaders, were questioned by the police.

The manager, in his complaint, a copy of which was also sent to the British High Commission in New Delhi this week, alleged that cheerleaders Ellesha Newton and Sherinne Anderson of Fierce Performance Productions of London had been discriminated against on the basis of the colour of their skin.

Mohali Senior Superintendent of Police Ranbir Singh Khatra, who was recently involved in a verbal spat with Mohali Kings XI team owner and industrialist Ness Wadia, said that the probe into the racism charge was on.

"There seems to be some substance in the allegations," Khatra said Saturday.

The complaint said that both girls were asked to leave the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium here April 19 by officials of Wizcraft event management company saying that the IPL franchise owners did not want dark skinned cheerleaders to perform.

Aldana, in his complaint, said that the girls were allowed to perform only after he intervened with Wizcraft officials.

While Wizcraft has denied the racism charges and even questioned why the cheerleaders chose to rake up the issue after almost one month, the Mohali police have asked the complainants to provide more details and identity of officials who are being accused of racist behaviour.

To be fair, some of the Indian frat dudes actually do clean up. I visited the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign over the summer...biggest concentration of hot Indian girls that I've seen in one place. And funnily enough, they all seemed to be going for the Indian frat dudes. I've found that ethic fraternities are really hit-or-miss. Either the guys are slaying the cream of the crop women of their own ethnicity, or they get no female attention at all.

Tastes change over time too, I used to not be attracted to East Asian women as a kid, now I like them a lot.

I'd say it depends on the region. I'd love white girls if I lived in the Midwest. I'd hate them if I lived in the Northeast. I'd love black girls if I lived in Atlanta or D.C. I'd hate them if I lived in Baltimore or Philly.

The screaming chick literally shouts "THIS IS NOT ABOUT CREATING AN INTELLECTUAL SPACE" AT 0:40 - on a university campus.



Also if you watch some of the other vids from the same scene you'll see parts where the onlookers are snapping their fingers. It's because clapping apparently triggers people. I'm not making a smart ass joke either that's actually their reasoning.

Basically, students were sent an email telling them that the school wouldn't police Halloween costumes, and that if they didn't like someone's costume, they could either ignore it, or tell the person it offended them, but the school wasn't going to do that for them.

That is what this whole thing is about.

This video is worth watching. I love the part where the administrator is explaining to the irate student that the reason that he isn't doing what she wants him to do is because he disagrees with her, and she says:

"THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YOU ACCEPT THE POSITION?"
