I honestly don't see them as a fad. It may take a while to catch but when they get under 25 lbs, I would start investing. 45+ is too heavy imo.

I picked up a few to hustle on craigslist, I can't get them fast enough to keep them in stock. I got a guy in the states with branded boards, price is obviously a bit higher but at least he has them in stock. Toying wth the idea of dropshipping them for people who don't want to hold inventory. It's going to be a very short term thing though, can't beat the Chinese on their prices but having them in the sstates and not a 30-50 day delivery time you can make a little money.
