Lately, anytime this girl has brought up that i am seeing a bunch of women on the side, or i canceled a meetup to be with someone else, Or she asks flat out if i am a cheater, i dont say no i am not with any other girls instead i tell her the truth but i say with a smile so that she can take it as maybe i am telling the truth or maybe i am just fucking with her. this seems to be a safe route

For example:
Her: "so why did you cancel on me last night"
me: "I was with another chick =-)"

Her:"are you a cheater? Would you cheat on a girl?"
me:"Yep i am a cheater. I do it all the time! =-) (except i dont)

That is the best way to handle it. Saying NO immediately makes her think you are lying, so it's best to admit with an devilish smile, and leave uncertainty in her mind if it's true or not.

Women like suspecting and knowing you are wanted by other women, but will not openly admit it ever.

So, fucking with her head and never giving a clear answer is the best option. It also shows you are not seeking her approval, and could care less what she thinks, which makes her want you more!

I agree. Humor and indirect responses are the key.
The woman's curiosity and imagination will do the rest as ultimately people believe what they want to believe.

Girls feel like they've done their job by simply asking. Getting a legit answer from you, in a casual relationship, is beside the point. They did their homework, so they can't be blamed now if you turn out to be a player.

Don't even try to memorize a line for every possible situation. Whenever a girl asks a prodding question like this, just think "haha she's shit-testing me, that's so cute" and the right answer will come. If you must have a specific strategy for responding to these, agree and amplify or ignore and plow will work the majority of the time.

Joking is the best way to go... a personal favorite is the "other girlfriend routine", you can "ya, don't worry that's just my other girlfriend, we should all hang out sometime!" If she's a South Park fan you can also add, "Don't worry, you know you're my bottom bitch!"

IF the joking doesn't work, then she's probably super pissed, at this point you have three options:

A. Pull back on your other chick(s) and focus on your main girl for a little while. I don't like this method, but I don't know how serious you are with this girl.
B. Come clean and "apologize", but say you needed to do it to make sure she was the one. If she goes after that, she goes.
C. Switch her to your chick on the side, and promote your other girl to your main girl. Again, this risks losing her, but trust me when I tell you she can be replaced.
