I've been using some of the tips on here for the past week. I've noticed that makes my whole day go better. The confidence boost from being able to hold strong eye contact is undeniable. It's helped with approaching girls during too.

It's a total alpha move. I do it, depending on the woman and my level of attraction I'll give them "the look" which is a slight sideways nod, its mischievous but innocent enough to be plausibly deniable. What it really means is "yes, I'm looking AT YOU, yes I means I want to FUCK YOU, and no I don't care if your husband is behind you with your 8mo in a Bjorn. This often gets me the response nod, which is acknowledgement. Took me a while to get it down, once you do you can use it to open.

Be conscious of your blinking when you hold eye contact. A good number of blinks means friendly and approachable. An unblinking stare means Buffalo Bill.

Fucked Up People
Women like "Fucked Up People" more than murderous psycho and usually the one who meet them finish quite the wrong way.

Now the question is :

Why those guy can fuck some much when some other have to learn game for years before being able to get some consistent pussy each month or week for the luckiest ones ?

Let's stay on the Eye contact part their Game.

Tell them too much, they wouldn't understand; tell them what they know, they would yawn.
They have to move up by responding to challenges, not too easy not too hard, until they paused at what they always think is the end of the road for all time instead of a momentary break in an endless upward spiral

It would be interesting to hear your opinions on the following:

1. Winking at a girl who gives eye contact: Yes or No?

2. Girl looks at you and quickly looks at her phone or something: Approach or Not?

Cheers.

Not true in all cases. A lot of insecure or nervous girls will try to mask their attraction by looking away quickly. Doesn't mean they can't be had.

Has anyone identified accompanying body language tells to consistently know the difference between a look away for insecurity vs a look away because not attracted?

I've had deadend jobs where I had to keep eye contact with customers. Whatever irrational fear you have about eye contact is all in your head. Maintaining eye contact will help you go a long way.

This was a gold mine for me. I try not to reply more than once, but this is just great!

This is something I can easily set my mind to. I know for sure if I had read this thread yesterday for the speed dating event, I would have done a lot better. Maybe 2/3 or 3/3 instead of 1/3 (3 being the girls I wrote in for interest). I found myself constantly looking away. Damn that was dumb on my part.

Next time, no matter what the conversation is, or where it is. I need to maintain eye contact until she breaks it. When eye's lock again, maintain. Rinse and repeat.

Love the James Bond clips for this. I always feel like going somewhere to open girls after watching a James Bond film.

Maybe I have been stuck in a bubble, but I forgot that winking is a part of flirting. Jeez.

You are walking past a girl. You give her eye contact but she does not engage. Instead, she looks slightly away with a constant gaze and a slight smile. Is this interest, acting aloof or just shy?

Any experiences with this? Cheers.

You should have just opened her assuming it was an indicator and figured it out then and there, instead of coming on here pondering it.

That being said, it depends. If they're holding eye contact a considerable amount of time then that's usually a good sign even if they look away. If they're just trying to look past you, like over your shoulder or something, and didn't hold eye contact very long or at all, it's not. A warm, not faked smile is also a good sign, though some girls are better at the fake smile business than others. I know there are a lot of girls that will hold some eye contact for a bit, then look down and smile. Those tend to be interested in my experience, and also are more often a shyer archetype. But if she's not holding it at all, then she's not interested.

I was guessing that it was attention whoring as well. I have engaged in eye contact with her before and she never pretended to notice. And now she does this. It can be hard to differentiate between genuine and fake smiling with girls these days.

It doesn't matter, you go after what you want. Do you think the lion cares if the gazelle looks his way or not? Warm approaches make things much easier but cold approaches taste sweeter.

RE: Eye Contact/Looking.
I used to play the eye contact game a lot and I kind of snapped into place after a while.

You have to think of the reason why dominant/alpha men hold eye contact. Why is it a dominant thing to do?

Here's why - because you fucking can. And beyond that you're assessing the situation. You see something you like? You want to see how it moves, what it does, how it reacts to your presence in the environment it's in. You're freely gathering information and nobody can stop you. After you get the info you need based on the body language and behaviour of your target you wait for an opening and then you go get it.

Man to man eye contact is about reading intentions, finding weakness, seeking agreableness. There's levels to this shit and when you know what you're looking for and how to spot it you'll have enough experience to do with it what you want.

Man to woman is not too much difference, but you want sex/female companionship so you act with that goal in mind.

As for the OP - if you have to ask if it was an IOI you're not doing it right. You should have found out by talking to her. This is all shit that's easy to say, or type. You gotta work on your inner game to be able to do it, everyone struggles but what would life be without challenging yourself. Keep your rationalizations in check and try to look at things objectively before approaching

RE: Eye Contact/Looking.
I have 2 behaviors from women with regards to this topic that I find puzzling.

1. I look in her direction but she just looks straight ahead with no expression. It looks like she is watching me through peripheral vision.

2. I maintain eye contact with a girl. She does not return it but gives a quick smile while still going on her way. Kind of smiling at nobody to a third person.

Are these attention validation techniques or an ioi to approach? Anyone else with similar experiences?

Cheers

@hazaer

I recognise both those scenarios, and I would say both are aware of your presence but do not particularly want you to engage them.

The first type she just pretends she hasn't seen you by looking forward but as you say, she is keeping an eye on you peripherally.

The second type, the polite smile seemingly at no one in particular is for you, she is just acknowledging that you two have noticed each other but again, doesn't make eye contact because she doesnt particularly want you to engage her.

It happens sometimes, she could be busy, shy, taken or just not feeling your vibe.
I wouldn't worry too much about it but if you really want to approach her, do it anyway and find out, she may warm up to you for showing some confidence.

If it happens too often though, could it be that you are looking for eye contact too intensely and giving off a thirsty vibe.

Do you have a resting bitch face and maybe come across as slightly intimidating without realising it?

This, I have an angry or serious face 90% of the time, and they break eye contact quickly, but then they look again when we are about to cross, which is how I know it was legit. But some times I'm smiling for whatever reason and I happen to lock eyes with a girl, they tend to smile back. I'm not giving up my expression though, I think that kind of look has its appeal as I've been told some times.

I definitely have the male version of "resting bitch face" and I believe it's hurting my day game. When I'm on the phone talking to someone, smiling, laughing, I get frequent IOIs. When I just have my "regular" look spontaneous IOIs are rare.

But walking around by myself smiling makes me feel like an idiot - what am I supposedly smiling at?

I'd be interested in hearing from others - what's your default facial expression if you're walking or sitting at a Café and you're alone?

RE: Eye Contact/Looking.
I always have at least a slight smile even if not in the best of moods. The old adage of fake it to make it, then makes the day go better anyway. I used to practice in a mirror to make sure it didn't look fake and thus creepy.

I find it easier to hold eye contact with a smile or to form a slight smile whilst making eye contact.

I also have to remind myself on all of the above from time to time as it is easy to slip up and revert.

It kind of happens to me from a few girls in particular. I don't really know them but its kind of weird that they do this. Maybe I do have a resting bitch face, but the thing is if you smile to compensate, it feels fake and people in general just feel it.

Your post sounds like these are indications that an approach is not going to be easy.

This is a really fine line. Its logical to conclude that nobody would like to engage a serious looking person spontaneously so you might be missing approaches from them even though they are interested but otherwise, having a smile on your face without reason can also be a let down as you might not come across as genuine. An intentional neutral expression might be the best bet and if they engage you in any way, you can then lighten or intensify your expression accordingly to the situation and their vibe.

Bump

So I was walking down the street when I saw a beautiful, beautiful young woman walking towards me, with her head looking side ways. As she came closer I was staring her down because I figured she wouldn't look at me and notice my staring. Suddenly her head turned towards me as we were walking past each other and our eyes locked for a good 3 seconds before I broke the contact. I got to admit, I got pretty high off of that Wink.

I have been trying to analyze the situation in my head. Why did she lock her eyes with me? Is this how women show interest? I was really surprised by her action, but I promised myself to NOT break contact the next time something similar occurs.
