Since I am not from the US and don't know anything about your gun laws but how easy or hard is it too aquire firearms?

Everyone will immediately start talking about guns other than the root causes of this. Like it'd somehow be fine to disarm people who obey the law because of these events and preferable for nuts with bombs and knives to run around committing mass murder instead. That's pretty much exactly what the elites who want to take guns away from the common man want, thus it's the narrative that's pushed by the media.

It's never "what should we do about crazy people?" it's "how can we take guns away from the rubes who didn't do this?"

The few protections still provided by the 1st and 2nd amendments are not long for this world, so enjoy 'em while you can, fellas.

Random people are used as proxies to export firearms into Mexico from the U.S. to fuel the drug cartel wars. This has been going on for 20 years at least and it's only recently been "discovered" as being a problem with the fast and furious debacle.

In otherwords, it's very easy to get a firearm.

While freedom of speech is important, I am in favor of a publication ban on the perpetrator of any spree shooting in the interest of public safety. It would be no different than a publication ban on a minor's identity in court cases. Cutting off the 15 seconds of fame will go a long way towards reducing these shootings.

Everyone focuses on the gun and some of the trigger man, but then back to guns.

We just had an article about women celebrating being on meds, ironically.

Meds, Big Pharma, and mental health do need to be discussed.

People always find it strange that I always carry a gun no matter where I go. When I went to Miami Dade College they had a "No Guns" policy and I still carried my 9mm glock ankle holstered and concealed. I have noticed every time I have a gun I never need it, so I always carry it so it will never be necessary to have it.

Some poor student, focused on his Organic Chemistry exam was killed today- he woke up this morning and never thought it would possibly be his day to die. That student never was or will be me, always carry men-Always!
