Tattoos do not undo someone's professional prospects, being an idiot does. Before I got a bunch of tattoos I would dress poorly/neutral, but after getting tattoos I knew I had to project a very professional image to offset my tattoos and it actually helped me stand out more in interviews etc. People remembered me as the "smart, well dressed guy with the tattoos"

If you have a bunch of tattoos in a non- tattooed environment, people will remember you...for good or bad reasons so you can't fuck up and just blend in with everyone else. If you have a bunch of tattoos in a skinny jeans and hipster environment they'll just go "gabba gabba we accept you we accept you one of us"

My favorite use for tattoos is identifying criminals. I'm not a cop. Tatts are a fad, like mullets were, like skrillexx cuts are, they just don't grow/go away. Unlike other fads they'll stick around a while longer because, well, they're permanent unless lasered off.

Surly they're more accepted than in the past, yet 99% of private sectors jobs operate under "employ at will" contracts. They can hire or fire for just about any reason non-race, gender related. How it should work is those with the best qualifications get the job. period. If the qualifications required include appearance, which many do, well, you're potentially fucked.

If I had employees in my own business again, if white collar position: I wouldn't hire blobs, neck or facial tatted, minimal hand tatts (maybe), coverable full sleeves ok, sloppy dress, smelly BO, or shifty eyed people.

The drawn in eyebrows - which may actually be tattoos (I know an otherwise smokin hot Jordanian girl whose literally got tattooed eyebrows..lol) - are just bad taste.
